"The place is in a wonderful location and very beautiful old hotel. Maybe don’t go on the days of carnival if you want to sleep. We were not offered any VIP service as Expedia said. Darci hotel manager was very friendly. We were supposed to be given free one drink every night but only got it once. I believe the young woman on front desk was in training and a lot got missed in the process. However, it is a very nice place to stay. "Stayed @ the hotel before. Good breakfast lots of choices. Room and beds(two singles) are basic but comfortable. Bathroom could use an update. The bath tub shower combination ended up giving issues with water running onto the floor. Would prefer a plain shower stall and no tub. Got some issues with the electronic key. 3 time I had to go back to reception for a new key.. as the old one locked me out. From my understanding from the reception person it seems to happen often. "
