Opportunities for improvement are around family-friendliness and more proactive customer service- check-In was very cold and abrupt, almost intimidating - service in the restaurant better but again lacking of some basic elements of customer friendliness, engagement with children etc."

The Orangerie Restaurant had an amazing dessert. The dinner menu looked great, but we ate elsewhere. This property is right across from the water, and we had a bit of a view of the Baltic from our room. I would highly recommend this hotel is you're staying in Kuhlungsborn."

Modern amenities, very friendly staff (both reception and breakfast personnel), and such a relaxing location right at the marina and near the beach (suitable for dogs). Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a few days at Travermünde, which is a beautiful spot worth visiting!"
