The accomodation was good for the price. My taxi driver suggested that with a late arrival, there would be no one waiting for me. However, I had managed to send a message with the revised flight times and I was met without problems. My flight out at the end of the stay was mid-afternoon. Although check out time was set at 11 a.m, no one appeared to check me out. They have a key box for self check out. The manageress did arrive just before I intended to leave, and was quite happy with my delayed departure. She even called the taxi when I was ready.
The accomodation was basic, even though the room is not small. A desk or table would be a good idea. I spent a lot of the time when in the room sitting on the bed with my laptop on the chair. There are tables outside, but even if you find one in the shade, the humidity made working impossible.
Simple cooking facilities are provided. There is a bathroom and shower. No hot water, which appears to be common in ABC Islands, even for moderate hotels (where they exist).
The accomodation is on a main road, but there is not a lot of noise, and no problem at night. The street here has only a gravel sidewalk, which has puddles and is muddy after rain. When you walk towards town a little, you soon get to proper paving. City Inn is around a 15 minute walk from the centre, where shops, restaurants and cafes can be found. Before you arrive, you pass other business which rent out motor scooters and organise diving and similar activities.
