We booked this hotel mainly on the back of reviews which class tit as 'exceptional'. This is a hotel with lots of character and is well maintained. If you have mobility issues then request lower floor accommodation. Breakfast was very adequate for the size of the hotel, although (like many places in Poland) do not particularly cater for a vegan diet in terms of providing non-dairy milk. They may well have done so if we asked, but it was easier to buy our own from a local shop. Coffee and tea provided in the rooms but no milk. Shower gel was provided in small sachets, so perhaps don't rely on provided toiletries for your needs. We did find it a little noisy late at night from some people on the street who had obviously been having a good time, but this wasn't a major issue for us.
Reception is not manned, and entrance to the hotel and rooms is via numeric codes provided via text. Only staff we saw were at breakfast and occasionally a cleaner - all very friendly.
Location is excellent being close to lots of bars and restaurants, and a 15 - 20 minute stroll to the main square. There is a very nice, friendly and reasonably restaurant across the road (Wrega) with inside seating and a large courtyard which is definitely recommended.
Whilst we cannot fault the hotel in any way for the price, but classing as exceptional may give a false impression. Expect a nice clean hotel with comfortable rooms, but don't expect a 5-star experience.
