Thre is one big room w/ the reception area (desk only), and the kitchen/living area. Right after the kitchen area, there are 2 bathrooms - neither of which have working locks! There are no working locks to enter the bathroom (where the shower and toilet are located) There are also no working locks in the WC/toilet room (separate door inside the bathroom). I brought this issue up to management and they were non-apologetic and did not seem concerned that the bathrooms don't lock. I think what they are trying to expect different guests to use the shower area and toilet area at the same time, therefore no locks (This place can probably house 30+ guests and only has these 2 bathrooms). This is quite an uncomfortable situation, no privacy to be expected. I stayed 1 night and left early in the morning (had originally booked 3 nights). The only reason I even stayed the 1 night is because I arrived around 11pm and didn't want to go find another place to stay so late at night. Also, the front desk staff said he couldn't find my reservation (which I had booked at least 1 month prior to arrival) and had me "sit and wait". After about 10 mins of waiting w/ no answer, I decided to get on the phone (skype) and call Orbitz all the way from Poland. They were finally able to "find" my reservation after the Orbitz representative talked to them, this reservation ordeal delayed my check-in process by at least 45-60 minutes.

Very close to old town. There is a discount supermarket 1 block behind the hostel. They have a fully equiped kitchen, offering free real coffee and tea. So you can totally cook in there. They don't have proper locks for their shower stalls though. Wish they did. Staff was great!

Would not select this hostel . Good location .
At this time during construction , NOT the place to stay . Very difficult to get to , no signage . Maybe when construction done ok. Bad to walk up three dark , no lights , stairs in office building . Scary . Bathrooms ... you share with men and women no privacy . Not too clean . The reception was medium , not very accommodating , just the basics . I booked a 4 dorm room and they placed me in 10 mixed ... it was 11 pm rainy so no choice . Bad internet in the room , ok in the kitchen. You have to go to the showers through the kitchen ... weird ! Uncomfortable ! If you have other options , stay there . The good thing is it is close to train bus station and old City .

Great! My charger failed when I arrived at 0600 that day. The staff were quick to lend me a charger, and invited me to stay in the common area for as long as I wanted. I went and visited the city and returned again in the evening. Super friendly staff, everything else is good. No complaints.

Right in the city centre
Had an excellent time at Grand central hostel. The building was located only about a 5 minute walk from the train station and right on the tram line. There were lots of resturants and a mall not too far away, and there were a few museums near the hostel as well as other only about a 20 minute walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful in planning tours, food recommendations and overall.

Close to Main Market Square
Walking distance to Main Market Square and a shopping mall. Staff where helpful and room and facilities were clean. They don't charge extra for lockers. It is on a second story with no lift.

The hostel was very good value and very modern in its renovation. However the bathrooms well not well thought out, as there was only one femal toilet and 2 showers for hoards of girls. The actual toilet space itself was pretty large and could have easily been 2 cubicles, which would have made an enormous difference!

Good location for a brief stay
I needed a place to crash while waiting for my flight home. Grand Central was the perfect location, close to the train station, tram stop, and a night bus stop I used to catch the bus to the airport quite late at night. The four staff members I met were friendly and helpful; the room was simple; the bathroom clean. A decent place to land for an affordable price.

Valitettavasti majoitus ei tarjonnut viihtyisää ilmapiiriä. Työntekijät eivät hymyilleet kertaakaan, isot villakoirat risteili lattialla, suihku/wc tilat olivat pienet epäsiistit ja riittämättömät. 2 wc koppia ja 3 lavuaaria ja 2 suihkukoppia yht yli 40 asukkaalle... ei hyvä.. sekä äänieristeet ovat olemattomat, ulkooa kantautuu kaikki äänet sisään. Plussana korvatulppia sai hakea ilmaiseksi tiskiltä👍 Hinta yötä kohden oli liian kova (8€/yö) hintalaatusuhteessa. Muuta plussaa: -sängyt olivat mukavat, patja oli hyvä. - puhtaat sänkyvaatteet - avara huone ja kaunis talo - sijainti oli hyvä.yhteydet kävelyetäisyydellä sekä juna mm.lentoasemalle ihan vieressä.

Una ubicación excelente, al lado de la Estación Central y a pasos de la ciudad vieja. El barrio es excelente y está muy bien comunicado. La atención del personal es ágil y amable. La habitación tenía un piso que hacía mucho ruido al caminar, lo cual molestaba a quienes dormían, interrumpiendo su descanso.
