"We enjoyed our stay although we had been concerned after reading a couple of recent poor reviews. We felt that these were unjustified. The property was remote and relaxing. Sometimes instructions needed to be repeated. Lunch and dinner were very nice although alcohol is not served. The rooms were very big and the staff were very polite. There are a selection of massages in the spa. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this Taj. We extended our stay by a night. The private cottages were very comfortable and the restaurant options great. The property is designed with a lot of green spaces leading up to the lake."

"Very poor service! Disappointed. Though they have renovated the rooms, it looks good but the service is very poor. Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. In one room AC was not working and we complained almost 5 times and nothing done! Even the restaurant once famous for good food now I regret going there. Food is oily and can sense its re-used oil."

"Property should not advertise on Expedia. Had no record of our reservation and did not have one of the rooms we requested. Were not prepared for our stay at all. Adjusted by providing an extra room. None of them had toiletries and none of the TVs worked. One room was in back of hotel where people were burning trash and could smell in room. Would have given even lower rating but they did try and make things right but it just is an incompetent way of running a service oriented business by making...

"Modern resort built in traditional style, Beautifully situated on the lakefront. Helpful staff and excellent restaurant. Great value. Water access from parking lot which is extremely difficult to find due to lack of signs. Highly recommended."
