"Honestly, this is my first time giving a review. I normally don't but this time i feel the need to do so. First of all, i booked a non-smoking room but the corridor to the rooms on First Floor has cigarette smoke all the time. I noticed the corridor is sprayed with some air freshener by the housekeeping staff early in the morning (they must have noticed the smell) but it'll be the same a few hours later. Let's talk about my room, as i mentioned it's a non-smoking room but the room has cigarette smell all the time from the aircond. I noticed the smell is lesser past midnight, perhaps everyone's sleeping so no smokers around. I can't blame on the multiple stains on the bedsheets as it's quite common BUT there are many more issues! 1) The chiller is never cold at all, room temperature all the time! 2) The aircond temperature box keeps dropping even though i tried to fix it back! 3) Look at the terrible black stains on the hairdryer...how could you even allow such a thing in your room??? 4) Look at the shampoo dispenser inside the bath area, there are terrible black stains around the dispenser box...how could you even allow such a thing in your room??? 5) Look at the glass door handle (round hole) in the bath area, one ia clean but the other one has terrible black stains...how could you even allow such a thing in your room??? Helloooo...this is IBIS, owned by the world renowned ACCOR GROUP! You don't even bother about your brand!!! Worst than budget hotel!!! "

"i think the kindest thing might be to say that its not set up for foreign guests - but the reality is it was disgracefully dirty and how they can get away with calling it 5 stars is beyond me - I left and went to Murcure, totally unacceptable for any guests."

"Had issues with my credit card payment at the front desk reception. Apparently they only allow pin transaction credit card, no signature transaction. Fortunately, I had a local there to help me to pay first. Many mini cockroaches found in the room toilet and areas beside the bed, despite after changing my room once. Overall the hotel is very run down and had a bad odor especially from the smoking rooms level. Avoid the smoking rooms. Staff and service are quite prompt to requests and maintenance. Expectation from breakfast is okay, but the coffee is really bad with alot of coffee residues. Will not visit again. "

"Stay here lot’s mainly due to location! It’s a pretty old hotel and the rooms need a renovating! Not enough non smoking rooms so it not alway possible to book a room. Breakfast could be a lot better! Need more variety of fruit, better coffee, better bread and real butter would be a good start "
