"The quiet, friendly place has only 6 rooms, so there is no tourist crowd. The owner will make you breakfast that you can enjoy in the garden area. You can ask them to make dinner too, they arrange transport to downtown area or trips around the island. You can rent kayaks and launch it front of the house, where you can also go snorkeling. "After checking out of an emotionally cold and expensive 5 star resort, I was so happy to have experienced Palau Central Hotel. The staff are accomodating genuinely, happy and friendly. Nothing is a problem. I really appreciated the courtesy drop offs to restaurants etc, the Canoe Bar adjoining the hotel is iconic and fun. Big comfy beds great air conditioning and big rooms too. Service and culture like this are winners . Thank you for restoring my faith and enhancing my holiday "
