"Bula! Thank you to everyone at the Fiji hideaway resort and spa. This was the first time my family and I had visited and we had an absolutely delightful time. The staff were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and consistently smiling and willing to help out. The food, especially the tandoori chicken, was such a highlight. In terms of the room, the room was lovely. We had the family room which managed to sleep my mom, dad, my 9 year old niece and myself. The only room for improvement was the bathroom. Nothing major but just in need of a little TLC. I would hugely suggest taking the local bus right outside the resort to the capital city of Suva. It costs only FD $10 per person. Already have a heavy heart typing this on our plane trip back to Auckland. Thoroughly enjoyed Fiji’s south west and south east coast. Highly recommended. Vinaka. "

"The house is impressive - very spacious and beautifully finished in wood - room enough for our party of 6 to spread out and enjoy their own luxurious space or come together in the main room for cooking, eating and relaxing. The front of the house opens up completely to the beach, This is living outdoors if you want. We stayed for 4 nights. Everything you can possibly need is provided. You are literally on the beach. Snorkelling off the beach was very good - much better than expected. We never even got around to using the SUP or kayaks provided. Use of the surrounding pool provided on-going entertainment and set the vibe for our holiday. We took advantage of Pinky's cooking talents for 2 days. Her lovo dinner feast is a must. It's an experience. But don't have it on your last night as there will be so many leftovers. Pinky looked after us extremely well during our stay. A big thanks to her. Communicating with the owner was easy. He was very responsive, even arranged for us to arrive early because we came in on a 5:30 am flight and had a baby with us. Coming to the house early on our first day in Fiji made a huge difference to the start of our holiday. There is plenty to do nearby should you want to venture out. The walk to the Biausevu waterfalls and the welcoming in the village is to be remembered. Sigatoka Sands Dunes is not far. I can't think of a better place to stay. Good I think I counted 8 different seating areas around the house for people to relax. "

"Really can't rate this place highly enough, the location was awesome being right across the road from the beach and jetty. Snorkeling out front was great, kids loved the horse riding on the beach. Was a short drive to kula wild adventure park which the kids loved also. The house and gardens were beautiful. Papu and Vanshika who looked after the property were lovely and very friendly and helpful. Papu cut us fresh coconuts from the property which were delicious. There were several restaurants and a small supermarket close by so we had lots of options food wise. Access to the pool was very much appreciated by my daughter and we had it to ourselves mostly. Unfortunately the club house pool was out of action which is right on the beach - that would have been really cool but the pool we did have access to was lovely as well. The house was really well appointed and had everything you could think of, kids (and me too) enjoyed the ping pong table and dart board. Great alternative to resorts, cheaper and way more space. Overall I'd highly recommend staying here and would love to go back one day! "
