"10 mins taxi ride from Kyoto station. We used taxis as lines for buses were really long during Sakura season. Taxis came within 5 mins each time. Use the “Go taxi app” Hotel is fantastic. Rooms are modest size for Japan. We had a king bed. Very comfortable. Our room was sound proofed. Couldn’t hear anyone. Breakfast was great and the roof top bar was very nice. Overall a 5 star experience for my wife and I. We just visited this past(2025) cherry blossom season. March 31 to April 5th"

"The hotel staff was great and the hotel was very clean. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was located near food, entertainment, and shopping. I loved my stay at this hotel. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Kyoto."

"This hotel was very clean and wonderfully located directly across the Kyoto train station. It had a friendly staff and located near a shopping and restaurants. However, the restaurants below the hotel were not the greatest. But, loved the Hotel. "

"Due to there being 3 of us in our family, we had to reserve 2 rooms. I had hoped for 2 single beds but was only given a full size bed in each room. The rooms are very, very small as are the bathrooms with very little space for storage of suitcases . Just be aware. Also, I attempted to use the washing machine, and although there are instructions in English, and I followed them, it still didn’t work correctly. One plus is free coffee and tea. "Excellent hotel on busy Kawaramachi street. Staff is professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also excellent. Rooms are spacious (for Japanese hotels), modern, clean and have a nice decor. Even though Kawaramachi street is very busy, the rooms are very quiet.
