Cozy summer cottage by the sea for rent ten kilometers north of Borgholm at Kalmarsund. Quiet and child friendly location. 150 meters to the sea and fantastic sea views with wonderful sunsets. Kitchen, bedroom, living room with fireplace & TV, combustion toilet inside as well as an hot water outdoor shower booth. Fence or hedge around the plot on a 750 square meter lawn and a iron gate to the village street. In the tool shed there are div. utensils such as barbecues and loungers which may be used if required.

Slidt, gammelt lidt primitivt hus med meget fin udsigt
Ejeren (Kjell) var meget venlig og hurtig til at svare på spørgsmål. Huset har en god glas veranda med udsigt over havet mod vest. Det giver fine solnedgange. Vandrere skal være opmærksomme på, at man skal køre et stykke for at komme til naturparker med gode vandreruter. Huset er gammelt og slidt, hvilket gør det svært at vurdere rengøringen. Vinduerne binder. Selvom Kjell medsender vejledning til forbrændingstoalettet, var det tydeligt, at det ikke var blevet korrekt tømt og rengjort, da vi ankom. Det er også lidt besværligt ved afgang, idet toalettet skal være koldt, når det rengøres. Da forbrændingen kan tage op til 1 1/2 time, kan det være vanskeligt at nå rengøringen, hvis nogen skal på toilettet den morgen, hvor der er afgang. Gulvet i køkkenet føles som om det er flækket/i stykker og lyder ligesådan. De første tre dage vi var i huset, flyttede vi en del insekter udenfor. En stor skovsnegl fra toilettet den første dag (det er ekstra svært at rengøre snegleslim) samt en god del græshopper. De første to nætter hørte vi dem ‘pippe’ i stuen om natten. Plus selvfølgelig lidt edderkopper. Vi havde egne puder og dyner med. Det vil jeg anbefale. Håndvasken er adskildt fra soveværelset med et gardin. Der er dør ud til toilettet. Toilet og soveværelse deler væg, så hvis toilettet bruges, når man skal sove, høres der en summen fra toilettet indtil forbrændingen er slut. Der er ingen lugt fra toilettet indendøre, men mens forbrændingen pågår kan man lugte røg i haven.

Prima locatie, inrichting gedateerd, buiten niet schoon
Het huis is schitterend gelegen met een prachtig uitzicht op zee. De foto's van de buitenkant zijn van lang geleden. Binnen was het schoon maar de meubels zijn gedateerd. Alle kasten waren vol, zowel in de slaapkamer als in de keuken. In de adv staat: 2 slaapkamers + bedbank woonkamer. Er was echter maar 1 slaapkamer en ook geen 2 persoons bed. Terras en ramen erg vies.

Naturnah, tolle Umgebung
Das Häuschen liegt an einer Kuhweide, die Ostsee ist in greifbarer Nähe. Baden geht ganz in der Nähe, Borgholm ist 10 Autominuten entfernt und unbedingt sehenswert. Fahrräder wären toll, denn es gibt gute Radwege. Einen Toaster und ein Geschirrhandtuch wären auch toll. Bettwäsche und Handtücher muss man auch mitbringen, die gibt es nicht im Objekt. Ansonsten ein Kleinod und Öland ist eine Reise wert. Der Preis im Juni war klasse und wir lieben es auch, mal ohne Luxus zu reisen.

Hyggeligb især med pejsen,udsigten over vandet, men man tager ikke bad på denne årstid hvis man er der af længere varighed det var det eneste minus, men det vidste vi på forhånd, alt ialt en super god oplevelse.

Enkel stuga precis som vi ville ha det. Läget var det absolut bästa. Inte riktigt kul med uteduschen men ok. Vi saknade en brödrost och övre hyllan i kylskåpet som inte fanns. Vi skulle mycket väl kunna tänka oss att återvända.

Das Haus ist sehr zentral für Ausflüge um Öland zu erkunden. Leider kein direkter Zugang zum Meer. Im Garten genügend Platz für unseren Hund. Die Außendusche und die Verbrennungstoilette etwas gewöhnun gsbedürftig. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Wonderful sea view
We had an amazing time on Öland, to a great extent thanks to this wonderful property. . What a location! Enjoying the tranquility, the sea, the view was wonderful. It was also very nice with the cows on the meadow between the cottage and the sea. Kjell was also very informative and helpful as a host. We would definately come back!
