"Really loved the stay on Downing Mountain. The yurt has great gathering areas both in the large 'great room' or the huge deck, both of which provide excellent view of Hamilton and the valley below. It is a great launch point to enjoy hiking (either straight up the mountain or other trail heads nearby), fishing or just relaxing on the river."

"My family loved this place. We stayed in the tipi, it definitely feels like your “glamping” but we still had a nice shower every morning. We went fishing in the private pond and caught some of the biggest trout I’ve seen. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. Sharon and Dave are two of the kindest people I have ever met. They made our whole trip, they welcome you onto their property and make you feel special. We have family up the road and already have decided that when we visit next we...

"All was well with the trip mostly. We had a few hiccups with getting the doors to lock and unlock properly and we never could get the outside lights to come on. They appeared to be solar but because of lack of sun they would not work and there was not a back up. The location is very rural and we had to travel a nice distance to food and fun. This is a nice place to get away from everything but not really for a family with young kids."

"Our group of 3 girlfriends had so much fun at this cozy property! We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, relaxing on the sofas while taking in the beautiful views, driving to walk around the nearby sites, and unwinding at the end of the day in the hot tub under the stars. The beds were comfortable and this house had all the necessary amenities! We're already talking about making this an annual trip. A wonderful gem of a property!"
