It's listed as a 4.5 stars but should be a one star & def not a luxury camp. It is run down with almost every amenity broken and in disrepair. It's a ghost town, for 2 of the 3 nights, we were the only lodge guest. This facility may work for outdoor campers who are self driven and self catered. Obvious sighs resort on it's last leg.
Positives: wait staff, driver and cook.Breakfast was decent but everything is counted out.Negatives: No cellular reception while there, no electric so no WiFi, no fan, no air conditioning and no hot water for most hours of the day. A small residential type generator runs for 2 hours in the morning for the office & reception area.
-Not listed for emergency services with the faculties in town like the other bush camps and resorts
-It's way out of the town of Livingstone. Approx 1hr. 30 minutes of that is an unpaved dirt road. It will cost you $50 to get to Livingstone airport and approximately$120 from Vic. Falls airport.
-Pool was in disrepair and lacked chlorine so we opted out. Chalets lacked toiletries except for hand soap. Prices are gorged coz they know you're stuck. They are dishonest with many hidden prices. She attempted to double my invoice.Dinner is $40 each, only one dish is served. They can't tell you what it is even an hour before. You're still expected to pay even if you dot like it. Dinner process was a two hr ordeal, long wait times between courses, food temps were unsafe. We opted to eat the rest of our meals out. Not worth the $$$
