Centrally located in the heart of Poipu, Makahuena 2-302 offers resort amenities and beach access all within walking and short driving distance. Makahuena Resort is perched on a rocky point above the ocean in Poipu. This unit has ocean views and access to the pool, tennis court, hot tub and BBQs. The property is within an 8-10 minute walk to the beach. Witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the over-sized ocean view lanai overlooking the pool and explore the coastal walkways leading to resort amenities, Shipwreck’s Beach, Poipu Beach Park, The Grand Hyatt Resort, casual and fine dining , gourmet grocery stores and weekly farmers markets.

Great Views and Lots of Space for 4 People
Great stay with 2 adult daughters. Everyone had their own space. The AC was great as it was hot. The balcony is nice but has direct sun exposure in the afternoons from the setting sun. Kitchen is well stocked including foil. No condiments except for salt and pepper. Lots of cleaning supplies. Loved being able to walk the cliff path to the Hyatt and the other direction to Poipu Beach.

It's in a wonderful location because we could walk to Shipwreck Beach, Brennecke Beach, and Poipu Beach. My friends and I loved swimming in the pool and lounging in the hot tub.

Comfortable, clean recently remodeled. Lots of stairs Could be a problem for seniors and young children. Baths are small but serviceable. Great location. Short walk to Poipu beach. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Stay in Paradise
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home! It was a short walk to the beach and there was a ton of beach gear there to use. The community is very quiet and everyone was very nice. Communication with Corey was excellent and he gave us some great recommendations on things to do. Our favorite thing about the house was the lanai - we spent every evening there watching the spouting and breaching whales, the spinner dolphins putting on a show, and the gorgeous sunset. We cannot wait to return!

Great condo
We loved the location - Less than 5 minute drive to Poipu beach and any restaurants and shops. Cori, the property manager is on top of everything and check in and out was effortless. They have lots of chairs and beach equipment including a wagon. The AC worked well in all rooms. The top floor bedroom and bathroom are a little small, but perfect for kids. Overall the condo was perfect for us - quiet clean complex, close to everything and enough room for 3 couples. The only thing I would say is maybe a little deeper dusting needs to happen.

The condo was comfortable and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was adequately stocked to cook a few simple meals. Loved that there were a few spices and condiments for us to use. Location is nice and easy to get to a few shopping and dining areas. Sunset views from the point just outside the condo are not to be missed! Corey was very responsive and informative. There are lots of stairs outside and inside the condo. Not a problem for us, but if you have any concerns about navigating stairs, ask before you book. We’d go back without hesitation.

The location and house were just as pictured. We enjoyed our stay. The only advice I would give is that house needs more of the basics stocked up (toilet paper/paper towels). We called several times and they did bring them but it should be stocked for a weeks stay. Also instructions posted in the house for basic info and check out info /pool rules etc would be helpful. Other than minor adjustments, the place was perfect. We would come back. .

Excellent view and location
The condo had an excellent view and it was close to everything. It was easy to check in and Corey was very responsive when we had questions. There were 3 beaches within a short car or walking distance. The swimming pool and hot tub were a nice bonus. The bedrooms don't have much of a description on the website so they were a pleasant surprise. They are very nice and spacious with 2 king bedrooms with ensuite on the 2nd floor and a queen with a small ensuite on the 3rd floor. You can't beat the view in the morning with coffee or sunset with wine/drinks! The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of beach towels as well as a small cooler and 2 chairs. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
