"I had the pleasure of staying at The Sonnet, Bidhannagar from December 23, 2024, to January 5, 2025, and my experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the exceptional staff at the reception, who ensured a smooth and hassle-free check-in process. Their professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail set the tone for a truly delightful stay. Throughout my time at The Sonnet, I was continually impressed by the impeccable hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was room service, housekeeping, or the restaurant team, everyone was friendly, efficient, and always eager to help with a smile. The rooms were well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with all modern amenities, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious, offering a variety of choices that catered to different tastes. The quality of service, both in the restaurant and in-room dining, was exemplary. A special mention to the reception team, whose warmth and professionalism truly stood out. They were always available to assist with any queries, from travel arrangements to local recommendations, ensuring that I had a seamless experience. "We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. This was one of the best stay we had. The hall mark of this stay was their food . I have no words to describe how tasty their food was. OMG they had so many items in breakfast that you name it and they had it. They must have an excellent cook who made every dishes so palatable and tasty. At least for the food they deserve 10 stars. If for no other reasons one must stay here for their food. You cannot go wrong for staying here. We are looking forward to staying again when we return to Kolkata"

"Everything was fine. Staff was friendly. Till on the last day. I showed them on the 2 rooms I booked including a total of 4 breakfast. Ut they insisted I did not. I booked one more room for a additional day. And it also showed breakfast included. I did not get the breakfast I paid for. And they were no longer friendly. They told me I need to get 3 taxi for the 5 people with luggages. And after we waited for them to get taxi (we cancelled our Uber) and then they said they can't get any taxi. So we went to the street and got all in with2 taxi. I don't understand why asking for what we paid for is not right. It is a problem they have with their Expedia listing. But it is not a good experience on the last day. "

"Considering this hotel is quite new- I figured the staff would be on their toes regarding the service to all customers. I booked an executive room with a king-size bed, but upon reaching my room, I was exposed to two twin-size beds suitable for children. Once I went down to address this issue with the reception manager- we were told that the hotel has overbooked and we would have to stay in that room until the next day. This was HIGHLY inconvenient as my husband is over 6ft tall and struggled to sleep that night due to the hotel's mistake. The receptionist was almost brush off ish- which I did not appreciate at all. The room service folks had charged us for an extra item and would not take it off the bill but later compensated with a bowl of ice-cream. The hotel lobbies were loud with kids and women/men yelling across the hall at 3am. The rooms are NOT soundproof. Even after complaining, nothing was done regarding it because the next night, the yelling in the halls persisted. I definitely will not be booking this hotel at all. No matter how close it is to the airport. It just isn't worth it."
