"Our stay was in three words: stressful, frustrating, and grimy. The man responsible for check in took us into the apartment, where he turned a valve, and said the “water tank is on”, and gave us a key. Once he left, the water tank was still not turning on and we noticed several other distressing items in the apartment to note here. 1) The ground had a layer of dirt and sand. Walking with our socks for under 10 minutes turned our socks black. Under the twin beds’ was an empty beer bottle....

"Hotel reception not open 0900-2100 as advertised but owners emailed me details of how to get into room and was very happy with service given!! Pizzeria and bar just along road and Aldi just around corner also 👍"

"I left the room on the first night and did not return. I had to find a hotel in the city. I could not communicate in any way with the person at the apartment. I had to remove my shoes before i entered. I had no lock for my room. When i asked about a taxi and my location to the city no one could understand or help me. This room was not suitable at all."

"We got in very late and had to use flashlights to find our way around the property. It was a lot of back-and-forth, but we found our way. The room was nice and big and quiet, but the bathroom was tiny. Luckily, we are both smaller people. There were a lot of long hairs on the bedding, which made it seem unclean, but I'm sure it was just the bed-maker and we didn't let it bother us. "Staff were brilliant. Breakfast was so good- so much choice. Close to Aldi the tram that takes you into centre. The Turkish restaurant (Istanbul restaurant the 2 local Greek restaurants are really good and decent value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the chef was such a good character - always offered us a choice of eggs/checked our breakfast was ok and spoke to us gave great recommendations. Absolutely brilliant for our visit to the Zag arena where we watched a concert and trams are very frequent to and from the hotel stop"
