Hitachi Central Research Laboratory was established in 1942 by Namihei Odaira, founder of Hitachi. He gave specific instructions to avoid cutting the trees when building on the 207,000 sqm property. They currently open the gardens to the public twice a year (Apr/Nov).

"The hotel was amazing. Very clean and Beautiful. Rooms are Small compared to Hotel rooms back home, but we don't stay in the room much so its really not a big deal. Staff was very nice and friendly and understand basic English which was nice because my Japanese is terrible. Area is a little rough especially at night, but that's not the Hotels fault. Would stay there again. "

"I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo. The location is excellent—very convenient for getting around the city, with easy access to transport and nearby attractions. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day, offering a solid variety and good quality. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
