"We arrived after a late flight into Heraklion, the welcome was warm with the offer of a cold welcome beer. The room was more than we expected woth plenty of space and good amenities. Morning arrived and we had a fabulous breakfast out on the deck admiring the view over the valley. We only spent a night here bit wish we could have had 1 more. Highly reccomended"

"The hosts were wonderful, friendly and very good cook. Plus, he is a fabulous musician playing the luth after dinner and singing with his wife for our delight! "The property was lovely; our room had A/C and a mini-fridge with a freezer, and the balcony had a drying rack with clothespins. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, sink, and hairdryer, too! "The villa was quite remote in the mountains but that is also what made it so special. We came from the seaside resorts which was busy and crowded and this was a beautiful respite. The view overlooking the entire area from their restaurant was breath taking and absolutely romantic. Taking a hike around the villa was invigorating and the villa itself was quaint but everything was functional - with tv access, hot water shower. In all, a fantastic stay!"

"This accommodation is really for families looking for a long stay at the beach (my wife and I were just stopping for the night, and chose this accommodation because it is very close to the archaeological site at Faistos). You have direct contact with the owner and his manager, whose English is adequate but limited. If booking here, you must obtain directions from the owner, as it is hard to find using Google Maps, etc. Large apartment on the ground floor, near but not on the beach."

"Perfect host, perfect location , perfect holiday get away . Stayed a week and it felt so relaxing straight away. Great base for exploring surroundings villages etc but lovely and secluded area to come back to. Beach just a short walk away , edged with lovely tavernas , very friendly staff who will even serve you on the beach as you relax on the sunbeds! (Bonus no charge for sunbed and brolly set!) Highly recommend short drive to Matala and Agia Galini ..both fantastic . Brave the drive through...

"Die Unterkunft ist super ausgestattet. Man hat wirklich alles, was man braucht und das alles in einer super gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Die Gastgeberin ist absolut freundlich und immer bereit, den Urlaub noch schöner zu machen. Die Lage ist unschlagbar: 2 min bis ans Meer und zu den vielen Restaurants und Tavernen ist es auch nicht weiter. Also, wir hatten dort einen perfekten Urlaub. Vielen Dank!"

"We spent a week here and went out everyday sightseeing and to different beaches, with lots of walks! Kamilari has a nice feeling about it, very friendly locals, some great Tavernas and a very well stocked supermarket. Not forgetting The Blues bar for cocktails! Vangelis and Tanya are really lovely people and the house was perfect Tanya even made me a birthday cake for my 60th!!"
