"Nice , comfortable, room in a great location. Great value, without its bells and whistles that you normally found in a hotel. Rooms is rather small bits comfortable with great bedding and mattresses. Lobby hotel has coffee and hot water option. I stayed at second floor, it’s quiet, perfect place to crash and I will not recommending it for a long stay. You got what you paid for. I will be back "

"The property Towels were hard and dirty, The room had small roaches which is what it is your in a jungle ! Mosquito’s the worst was the outdoor light never turned of it was like sleeping with sonar lights on it seemed like it was morning but it was midnight, Turn off the lights outside OFF, C’mon you get what you pay for- Update your jogolo’s ac made weird noises at night, But the interesting thing was you could get Netflix Welcome to Borabodur "

"The owner of this homestay is incredibly kind and helpful! Helped me get around and showed me some places. It's pretty far from everything so a bit inconvenience but very cute area with a big night street food market if it's your thing! Good a/c and internet connection as well"

"Gopalan has a lovely location with views out over rice fields. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, but there were small gaps between walls and door frames/ windows whicj some might find disconcerting - rustic charm is more accurate. There's a bit of a water shortage in the area at the moment, though I dont think the locals want to mention it but we had to contact reception twice to let them know we had no water. "Really love the hotel. I picked it because of its location near the train station as I was coming from Jakarta by train, then going to the airport (there is an airport train which takes 1/2 hour). The staff is extremely nice. The breakfast was fantastic… The pool was nice! Internet was reliable, bed comfortable, room spacious, TV had English news and movies. I would definitely come back! "

"We liked the Colonial architecture, and the size of our rooms was very spacious. Great views of the rice fields, its lush greenery landscapes. The meals were delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. Nice variety for us. Also the staff were very welcoming and it had a cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel. "

"Stayed there before catching our flight the following morning. Right from check in to check out, we were treated exceptionally courteously by each and every staff member with always a smile on their faces. We had a steak dinner and drinks at their rooftop lounge and the steak was prepared exactly to the specs we had asked for. Next day we took a free shuttle to the airport. I highly recommend this place and would without a doubt stay here again in our future trips to Jogja. Thanks to all the staff members for making our stay great!!"
