"The concierge was the best informed we have experienced. Bar is excellent. Hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only complaint is that the shower did not have a grab bar, at least not in our room. "

"Way better than I was expecting. The service was great and the room was beautiful. I loved the burlesque theme throughout, it wasn't tacky of tatty. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, not many alternatives out for vegans or lactose intolerant but just ask staff. Would definitely stay again. "

"Well located, 15 minutes walk from the train station and 20 mins from the center of the city. Hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The reason for fewer than 5 stars is the elevators were super slow, it was hard to regulate the temperature in the room ( too hot) and the pillows too high and uncomfortable. Would give 4.5 if option was available."

"This hotel was a lovely place to stay and was convenient for walking to most attractions. It’s only a 20 minute walk from Amsterdam Central and 5 minutes from the nearest tram stop. "I loved this hotel so much, it was really a great surprise! The location is perfect; you are within walking minutes of Zaandam station. The station is around 25min away from Schipol Airport and 20min to Amsterdam Centraal station, so it's a perfect alternative in terms of hotel instead of paying double price for a hotel in Amsterdam. You are also not too far away from the Zaanse Chans Windmills, you can take bus 69 to go there directly. The room is very specious (we had the TASTE Deluxe room) and we really liked the cheese theme wall of our bedroom. The room is clean and well maintained by the staff. The reception staff was also friendly. Overall, I am so glad I choose this hotel for its convenience and value for money. Also, you will see a lot of people taking pictures of it from the outside as it is very peculiar and the 'image' of Zaandam's architecture. 10/10!"

"Excellent Hotel for tourists. Faouza was extremely nice. I reached early before check-in time and she took good care of accommodating me. Convenient location, close to the station. Many dining options at a walking distance. If you looking for a place with a clean bed and bathroom, this is the best affordable option. "

"At first I was a little worried as building had scaffold outside, But once inside it was a lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. Check in completed quickly. Room was clean and comfortable and no noise from anywhere. 2 minute walk from sea front. Recommended "

"Everything was great. The room, the location, and the easy access to renting the bikes. Only downfall was receiving only 1 roll of toilet paper for 1 week for 4 people. As well as the walk from the hotel to the train station was about 20 minutes of a walk and in the night there’s no lights besides your phone lights. "
