1901 Farm House with Tennessee Charm. We named the house Par for the Course Inn due to its location to the Island Pointe Golf Course. The house once was used as a pro shop before the golf course built a new pro shop further in on their property. The farmhouse sat vacant for almost 5 years and was in ruin when the current owners purchased it in August 2020.
This farm house was just restored to its charm over the last 2 years. The house has original flooring and doors. It boasts all new amenities including three bathrooms, five bedrooms, laundry room, spacious kitchen, dining room and living room. The 1st floor bedroom features one king size bed, the 2nd on the 1st floor has a full size bed with a pull out bed. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms. Two of those bedrooms have two queen size beds each and third bedroom has two full-size beds. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and jetted tub. The house features a wraparound porch, deck on the back, and two fire pit areas, enough seating for 6 to 8 people. Also lots of other areas to relax on grounds. House has great parking enough for large families.
The farm house is situated next to an 18 hole golf course which is known for its wildlife scenery and is situated on the French Broad River. A beautiful and relaxing day will inspire a great golf game! Island Pointe golf club is open to the public and allows for last minute bookings.
The house is 20 minutes to Knoxville, 25 minutes to Sevierville, 30 minutes to Gatlinburg, 25 minutes to Pigeon Forge. Also about 30 minutes to Dollywood.
There are no other homes around this Farmhouse and your family will enjoy the privacy in the country setting. This is the perfect place to unplug from day-to-day activities and just relax.
We have a fully stocked kitchen for those who like to cook. And also a complimentary coffee and tea bar.
Private breakfast and dinners are available for a charge. If you’re interested in this please contact the owner and they can give you more information. We also host private birthday parties and weddings.
When guests are not staying at the house we are constantly working on the home. Due to its age of being 120 years old house there’s always something to do!
