"My stay here was my favorite two nights of my entire month trip in Thailand. After getting to the bungalows late at night after a long travel day, the women that owned the bungalows could not have been more sweet to me and my friend. "The chalets were completely inaccessible on the side of a mountain. You couldn’t drive a normal car up to them and to get to them you had to climb up very steep and very wet steps mostly just stones. There is no way you could carry a suitcase. The views were amazing but I never stayed there it was impossible. I believe they are building a road then it should be ok"

"I found this gotel to be quiet, comfortable, with a very relaxed vibe. The room was spacious and the beds were verycomfortable. I also found the location in old town to be relaxing, but it was also a short motor bike ride to the beach. I couldnt recommend this place enough. I will definately be coming back."

"We stayed at Palm Resort for only one night, as a jumping-off point to Koh Ngai and Koh Muk. If that's what you're looking for, this is a great place. Basic, but clean. Air conditioning, acceptable bed, refrigerator. For $20-something dollars, it's quite good. But if you're looking for an actual resort for a multiple-day vacation, this is not it. "This hotel had bedbugs. We had a reservation in the 3br suite and around 11pm discovered there were bedbugs infested in all 3 rooms. I struggled with posting this review because all of the the staff are so nice but I see the room is available for reservation again and it was a total nightmare to discover this and deal with sanitizing our things and finding a new place to stay in the middle of the night. "

"This resort was a dream! The staff were so sweet and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beach and pool were beautiful and great for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very good. This place was a relaxing escape from the touristy areas of Thailand. We did not have a vehicle but the hotel sent a car to pick us up and help set up a ride to the airport. If you were going to stay for more than 2-3 days, you may need to get a vehicle or scooter. We did not have kids with us but the resort appeared very kid friendly with a playground and kid friendly menus at the restaurant. We got amazing massages as well. I would totally stay here again, a nice relaxing part of our trip!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Sivalai Beach Resort very much. The staff are kind, observant and diligent. The facilities are highly maintenanced and both indoor and outdoor areas are kept clean, even the beaches are being swept, an effort that are highly apreciated. And most importantly, the kitchen there is really doing a great job. In all, we had a really time there."

"Was an enjoyable stay. Property is divided into a beachfront area with pools and restaurants and the actual lodging area on the other side of the road. There’s a pedestrian tunnel that goes under the road. Our lodgings were a decent walk from the beachfront. Would have been a little difficult for anyone with mobility issues. They provide a shuttle service but that can be unreliable at certain times of the day though. Overall would still recommend though. Family enjoyed the beach a lot. "
