"We enjoyed our stay at Miss Hongs House. Excellent value, really comfy sheets and bed. Also provided with two bottles of water per day and there are facilities in the room to make your own coffee. Steps are quite steep, therefore not ideal if you have mobility issues, but we were fine."

"The pool doesn’t have jets or a circulation filter and is full of insects. The nightclub is behind the resort on top the hill and you hear loud music at night. The walls are paper thin and you hear other guests and workers banging on metal. "

"Definitely not worth the money. Greated in my room by dead geckos, spiders and undesirable odour. Woke up horrendously bitten by bed bugs. Would have complained by could never find anyone at the reception area. A painful stay I wish it never happened. As I write this review I am itching away. The swelling with subside but no amount of ointment will get rid of the memory of this hell hole. Please for the safety of public fumigate the room."

"Water pressure was low or non-existent for long periods. Stingy .. drinking water was not replenished on 2nd day. A few mosquitoes .. but no repellents??"

"I booked this guesthouse for my friends on a very short notice and all other places were already fully booked. Honestly we did not expect too much because of the price. But for a short stay, if you want to safe some money or if there are no alternatives, we can recommend this place. Even the AC worked surprisingly good. They do not have housekeeping so if you stay longer you need to clean the room by yourself. In other words: For this price the guesthouse surprised us in a good way. "

"We chose this home based upon the location and the pictures. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed in the overall appearance of the gounds. It was definitely more run down than the pictures portrayed. The entire complex needs some paint and lots of TLC. The house itself was fine, but it is advertised as OK for long term guests and I would have to disagree with that. There's no washing machine, iron or ironing board, not even a full length mirror in the entire house. We stayed for five...

"The whole resort was very clean. They have also a nice public pool, though we used the private pool at or house. Our host was very friendly and react promptly on every question/wish we had. We got also good recommendations for restaurants. Also the guests in the neighbourhood have been very friendly"

Perfect chill

"Was exactly as the guide and the photos portrayed. Not a lot to do outside of the hotel grounds but the hotel itself was excellen. The Fishbar was a little expensive but the food was really nice. Would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing break "

"Overall this was a lovely stay. The rooms are clean and modern. Beachside spa services were excellent although a bit pricey. The beach is lovely here however isn’t cleaned up daily. We were charged for breaking a glass in the room. The pools were plentiful (hot tub, small cool pool, two large pools, and a kid friendly pool). Food onsite was very good and service of the whole staff was so friendly!"

Great little resort

"I have stayed at the resort the year before and enjoyed the hotel. We like the cottages because they are close to the beach. The music can be load especially when the fire show is on. We can usually sleep thru anything but it could be an issue for people looking for a quiet room. The music shuts off at 11 to 11:30 at night. The food was ok not spectacular. There are alot of good restaurants along the beach. The beach is a very nice white sand and the swimming was great. The entertainment was good. North american music mostly and they did have a great saxophone player that played throughout the day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close walk to the small town where other services and bike rentals are. If you want a quieter afternoon you can rent a bike and tour other beaches on the island They have been doing modernization and upkeep on the hotel. We would stay again "
