I absolutely love this hotel. I actually live in Knoxville and just needed to stay Downtown overnight during a repair in my home. The staff was so accommodating, from the front desk, room service, valet. It was quiet, the view was spectacular and room spotless. Food was delicious. I had no idea how much local artwork was in the shops downstairs, the fireplace …. I can’t wait for another “stay cay”

A bit disappointing
They gave my room away for the first night of my stay even after I was charged for it!! They claimed they didn’t have my reservation! All they could offer was an apology and send me on my way to find another hotel. Ended up at the Hyatt Place; they were so very nice and welcoming! Felt bad for us, matched the hotels.com price AND gave us 2 free drink coupons! We returned to the Tennessean the following evening and everything was better although there were still NO concessions made for their error in overbooking and giving my room away. We were there for a wedding and everyone else in the family stayed there the entire time.
