Great stay
We went to visit our son at UTK. This house was so cute and the location ideal. It was far better than staying at I hotel. When we travel again we will for sure choose this property.

Pleasant little cottage.
Cozy little place right next to downtown Knoxville. Its a very old place, and looks and feels it. But it served my purpose for a couple of nights. Jake, the property manager, is great and was always very prompt to respond to queries.

Weekend stay for volleyball tournament
My family and I stayed at the C House to be closer to the World’s Fair Exhibition Hall for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. Location was exactly what we needed. Jake was extremely helpful and quick to respond. He has the house stocked with so many thoughtful items (band-aids, feminine products, wine, tons of coffee/tea, extra towels, firewood for fire pit, etc) Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Unique property
We enjoyed our long (9 days) stay. This is a unique property, maybe originally a flat top house. It has low ceilings which is a challenge if you are tall. We were able to make most things work great, but at over 6’4”,the tub/shower head just didn’t work out. It would have been ok to tolerate for a few days, but was tedious for longer term. The beds were extremely comfortable but not as pictured. One had more of a daybed frame and again, was a tall person challenge. We would stay there again, but only for a shorter stay.

Comfortable and Convenient
This property is ideal for a quick stay in Knoxville. It is located within 10-15 minutes of Market Square and UT campus. Rooms are small and functional - good clean place for a few nights sleep and quick meals. Appreciated the availability of the property owner before, during and after our visit.

This small home allowed us to step back in time and reconnect with history. It is close to greenways and bike lanes that allowed us to bike virtually everywhere!

Needs updating
This place is good if you’re a bunch of guys looking to stay close to downtown for a “game day” weekend. We were in town for a wedding, so we only used the house for inbetween wedding festivities. The location to downtown is awesome! You’re within minutes of lots of good restaurants and shopping and there’s a grocery store literally down the road. However, this is not a place I would want to hangout for the weekend. I knew from the pictures it was dated, but my expectation didn’t match up to what we got. The ceilings are very low, I wouldn’t recommend anyone tall staying here otherwise you’ll have to duck down the whole time here. The bathroom is very outdated and tiny. The bedroom and bathroom doors are basically painted plywood with no door handles, only little knobs on the inside for pulling the door open. And the doors would not close all the way. No real curtains or blinds on the windows, just sheers. I know it was a game weekend (TN vs. AL), however, I feel what we paid was expensive for what we got. I think if the owner invested in some renovations, it could be a nice little getaway.

Close to everything
It’s just like going to grandmas house! This property is small, but convenient to everything. While I appreciate the historical feel they are going with, the living room/main room was not ideal for relaxing for more that 2 people. The seating could be updated. We didn’t use the kitchen at all but it looked to be well stocked with everything you’d need. Having a washer/dryer was nice. The house could use some window treatments in the bedroom. There is only a curtain that’s thin and no blinds or shade. It backs up to a rather large apartment or condo complex so the privacy with no blinds wasn’t ideal. The neighbor looked a little sketchy at night but no one bothered us or our things. For what we paid, I feel it was ok.

Small yet convenient to town
It’s like walking in to grandmas house. It has a very warmy feel, and while we didn’t use the kitchen at all it looked to be stocked with everything you need. The neighbor looked a little sketchy at night with people wondering the streets but no one bothered us. Pros: It was close to downtown and grocery stores. Has a washer and dryer and fully stocked kitchen. Cons: There are no blinds in the house, only thin curtains, so I felt like the privacy wasn’t great with the bedroom window looking out to an apartment building. The living room seating isn’t ideal for more than 2 people.
