"We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and spacious room overlooking the estuary. Our room had a small table and two chairs as well as a side table for hot water kettle and tea and coffee fixings. There was plenty of room for two of us with a gorgeous view. "

"Hotels was in a great location and suited my needs. The room although only a single was spacious and comfortable and equipped with everythihg you needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fitness suite was great and had the use to it during my stay. The joined restaurant was spot on with a good selection of meals. Even a complimentry drink. "Wonderful country house hotel in about 200 acres of stunning grounds. Lots of outdoorsy things to do. The sitting rooms are glorious with open fires and the staff are attentive and there are lots of little touches that make the hotel stand out. The food is excellent, eat in the Great Western Restaurant if you can. Breakfast excellent. "

"The service and little touches especially for the kids (kids corner, a token for the kids to spend at the bar to get a choice from a list of chocolates, activity pack, juice etc), free cookies and still water that was topped up daily, lovely buffet breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. "Stayed for 2 nights with my 10 year old daughter and nearly 80 year old mother and both felt catered for and had a lot of fun. "A great hotel to stay to break out travelling up. Staff accommodated our late arrival. Breakfast was good, bed was comfy, staff were friendly. My only jiggle was that our room was cold when we arrived at 11:30pm and was cold through the night. "
