"Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly...

"This property was just what we were looking for. The traditional farm house is well-built and well-maintained and the owners' eclectic sense of style was beautifully displayed throughout. "Das Wochenende in Mainz war sehr schön. Das Hofhaus war schön gemütlich, sauber und einladend. Im zugehörigen Innenhof konnte man sich gemütlich und in Ruhe aufhalten, was bei dem Wetter perfekt war! Der Vermieter, Ingo, war sehr zuvorkommend. Er hat während dem Wochenende immer wieder sichergestellt, dass es an nichts fehlt und super Programmtipps für in und um Finthen gegeben, die man sonst vielleicht nicht gefunden hätte. "The property is surrounded by beautiful fields and vineyards in a non-touristy part of the area, but also close to towns like Mainz, Wiesbaden and Heidelberg. Very close to local supermarkets too. It was great for us - clean & well appointed. Only downsides were no Wi-Fi (which we knew about beforehand) and the property on-site wine tasting was shut for a holiday whilst we were there."
