"We stayed in a jungle villa for a few nights and had a very nice stay. Staff is very friendly, food is very tasty and room was always very clean. Ramso was at our service and he did an amazing job, he was so heartwarming and proactive, regularly asking us how we are and if we need something, asante sana! All communication was done via Whatsapp. Be aware that in the jungle villa, the animals surrounding can be loud in the night! The last patch of road to the hotel is not paved but that is a minor...

"Je n'ai pas séjourné au Kizimkazi lodge ,lorsque je suis arrivé il n'était pas encore prêt pour l'ouverture alors on m'a attribué une chambre dans le resort juste devant,même propriétaire, pas la même gamme ! j'étais gagnante la manager m'a promis de trouver une solution au problème je n'ai pas été déçu.Donc mon jugement est un peu biaisé mais je n'ai aucun doute sur la qualité des prestations à venir ,merci Sharlène!!!"

"My stay at Kwanza was amazing, stayed here for my honeymoon and my wife really loved the resort. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which was a nice added feature. The only thing I could fault this hotel is the drainage system in the shower and sink is a bit slow to go down the drain other than that everything is 5 star. I would definitely stay here again and the staff were all amazing and accommodating. "

"Die Hotelanlage ist durch den wunderbaren Garten sehr grün und viele Naturgeräusche laden zur Entspannung ein. Meinen Cocktail genoss ich am Pool und das köstliche Essen wurde von sehr netten Angestellten serviert. Sowieso war das Team sehr hilfreich für die Beantwortung meiner Fragen bezüglich meiner Weiterreise. Der Strand ist einfach in weniger als 5 Minuten erreichbar. "

"Absolutely beautiful place to spend 5 days. Utterly clean, great food, cold drinks, very very cheap, free kayaks and paddle boards, good shower, friendly dogs, interesting wildlife, really friendly staff, loads of interesting places to sit and lay down in the communal area, can walk quite far out into the Indian ocean when the tide is out and it faces west so the view of the sun setting each evening is spectacular. I'll give it a 14 out of 10!!! "

"Nice if you like solitude and being in nature, and don't mind "rustic". Big open air villas surrounded by trees (even a few baobabs), which are frequent by monkeys (including red colobus). Not so nice if you are used to excellence and attention to detail in everything. Resort is in need of TLC at a minimum or renovation at a maximum to make it worth the price. All of the cushions are either worn out or torn with the cotton pocking out or zippers not closing... I would not recommend booking any...

The only thing is that it was a few families with kids which made it not very relaxing. "The beach is beautiful. The property well kept . The rooms are large but spartan . No frills . The food is basic and not a lot of choices . The only negative feedback I have is that the day I checked out at 6.00 I was not provided with any food even though my breakfast was paid . There was no food to buy at the airport. "
