5/5 Excellent
Comfortable and convenient hotel
"I stayed in a 'comfort twin' room for 4 nights and really liked this hotel. The room was a good size and I had a lovely view of the mountains to the north.
It's probably been a while since this hotel has been refurbished but the public areas were comfortable. There are a number of vending machines, an ice machine and you can get free hot drinks from a machine in the lobby.
The staff were friendly and arranged the forwarding of my luggage with Yamato. Breakfast was a self service buffet with a reasonable selection of hot and cold dishes, including some pastries. It's the first time that I've stayed anywhere that has a machine that dispenses rice.
I travelled by public transport and the hotel is very conveniently located opposite the train station and just round the corner from the bus station. On the corner opposite the hotel is a seicomart (Hokkaido chain of combini like 7Eleven and Lawsons).
I'd very happily stay here again if I return to Shari."
