"Location is amazing - you can see the fortress from the windows, and it's a nice quiet part of the old town. Easy to walk to lots of restaurants and to the sites in the old town. Nikos is very nice and responsive - he is the best part of the stay. Only stairs - no elevator, and could be a little cleaner. The hotel itself is a little older and in need of some renovations, but is fine for a night or two for the price. "

"Excellent property & great location! Reception staff appeared to have too much to do, maybe have more than 1 staff on duty at busy times. Breakfast at Wild Duck was superb & staff were extremely responsive & assisted in getting us out for an early tour! Bathroom lighting could be redesigned to be brighter & more functional. "I like the stay ! The room is large for three people and the facility is nice! We stayed at the zeroth floor so no elevator is needed. The one downside I could mention is parking. It's not easy to find parking there. You got to go to the backside near where the cannons are. "

"Palacio del Sol is about a mile from downtown Nafplio-- so you'll likely be driving into town for dinner, etc-- BUT it's EASY to park and drive... much easier than I would imagine staying in the old town to be. Lovely little pool too. "

"We stayed in the top floor suite. No lift in the hotel but we knew that. We also knew there were going to be lots of stairs from the town center to the hotel. If you take a cab or car they can drop you off at a parking lot with fewer stairs. We really liked the location and the feel of the room. We had a balcony and kitchen in the top suite. "This was a wonderful experience. The property sits above the town of kiviri. The beach is a downhill walk, so we drove down so as not to walk back uphill. There is parking on site.
