"Amazing find! What a unique accommodation. Rustic but refined with all the amenities of home but with peace, quiet and nature. Enjoyed exploring the grounds and hiking trails and even came across a porcupine. Would definitely stay here again. Probably the best accommodation in the whole area. I can’t imagine coming to deep creek and staying in a boring condo or lake house. Looking forward to checking out every cabin on the property! 5 stars all the way."

"This was the perfect secluded location and cabin. It was very cozy and clean. The only thing that could have made it better would be screens in the windows for some fresh mountain air. We have been to Alpine Lake many times and, although all the places we stayed were great, this by far was our favorite. We will definitely be returning to The Red Fox."

"Some areas of the cabin are a bit dated, like the downstairs bathroom. But overall it is a very nice cabin, and we enjoyed our stay. Take bear safety seriously, we saw a bear near the cabin one morning. Lots of deer in the area too."

"My family and I had a great stay at this property this last weekend. Shawn was very responsive and flexible it made our stay a breeze. We loved the games downstairs and the proximity to Wisp Resort. Would recommend! "

"Very nice cabin tucked into the woods. Place was clean and cozy. We had an issue with the gas fireplace but service got it working. The master bed was problematic. Basically a box spring and mattress on the floor between a bed frame. Not sure if the slats were broken or missing, but it created a very low to the floor bed. Only other issue was the toaster. Something is stuck in the that sets off the smoke alarms. I tried clearing it with no luck. We’d rent this place again"
