Our place is a super bright, incredibly clean, excellently appointed oceanfront condo with a view you are sure to love! Literally, a 2 minute walk to the beach! This new rental property will be your "go-to" favorite annual trip location. We really wanted to make sure everyone enjoys our special place as much as we do! Enjoy lazy days on the beach and at the pool, drinks on the deck, and exploring the quaint town of Duck. And BYOC (bring your own charcoal) for a nightly cook out in the courtyard area. So much FUN! We know you'll love Colony by the Sea (CBTS) as much as we do. It's a true gem in the Outer Banks! Ours is a first floor, end unit: no elevator, 2 short flights of stairs (building on pilings). We love to cook and entertain so we have a well-stocked kitchen, including basic spices, EVOO, balsamic vinegar and just about every utensil and baking/cooking tool we could think of. BRING YOUR OWN: paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, towels (bath/beach/dish), sheets, pillows, and blankets. There is a coin laundry room for $2 per load (same for wash or dry) under the building if needed (it is kept very clean). TV sets in living room and bedroom with basic cable and streaming capability.

We love Lucky Duck!
This was our 2nd year staying in the Lucky Duck condo and intend to stay there again next September. It is immaculate and located in a great condo community. Just steps from the beach and pool, the view is beautiful, the kitchen is well stocked with staples like spices and oils, and it is convenient to get to restaurants and shopping in Duck. Hosts are very communicative. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed with their experience staying in Lucky Duck!

Amazing Honeymoon Destination
Tracey was a wonderful host and everything we needed was right there. Communication couldn't have been better. There were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and the property was extremely clean and well appointed. It was a very relaxing stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Lucky Duck! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners put a lot of thought and care into creating a comfortable, welcoming space. The condo is impeccably clean and beautifully renovated—everything feels fresh and new. The oceanfront location is unbeatable, with a stunning view that makes every morning feel special. Plus, it’s just a quick 2-minute walk to the beach, so we spent hours enjoying the sand and surf. Beyond the condo itself, the communication with the owners was top-notch. This was our second stay at The Lucky Duck and it did not disappoint. One of the cleanest condos I’ve ever stayed in; Tracy called on the way to the beach to confirm and let me know I could check in early and the new porch on the front with deck chairs, bench and place to hang your towels is functional and a great place to leave all your beach bags, towels, and boogie boards. Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to go back

We loved The Lucky Duck!
We had the best week at The Lucky Duck! We’ve stayed at a few condo’s in the same complex, but The Lucky Duck is by far the BEST one. The condo was spotless with the cutest decorations. The hosts have thought of every single detail to make your stay care-free. We loved the extra beds in the living room, the extra hooks for hanging, the fully stocked kitchen, and the amazing patio furniture complete with the perfect view. The hosts were so friendly, great at communicating, and we can’t thank them enough for sharing their home with us. We are the lucky ones to have found The Lucky Duck. We hope to return to The Lucky Duck next year!

Beach getaway
Exceptionally clean, steps from the beach with a view of the ocean from the deck and living room, comfy king bed, 2 full baths, great shower in the primary bath (didn't try the other one), well stocked with the essentials. Lovely beach, great town, walked to and along the boardwalk for restaurants and shops. Tracey (the owner) was available, though we didn't need to call for anything. We highly recommend the Lucky Duck and hope to be back!

This property is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were so impressed by the host's communication and it is clear that a lot of thought, love, and energy went into designing a welcoming and well-organized home. It was perfect for our family of 4. We especially enjoyed the view from the back porch and listening to the sound of the waves. We hope to stay here again sometime. Highly recommend.

Our family of three loved this property for its great balcony with ocean views. It was clean and well stocked for cooking if you wanted to but we enjoyed the delicious choices Duck had to offer for meals. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy quiet beach walks.

Amazing Getaway
Beautifully renovated condo just steps from the beach and pool. Only a half mile to shops, restaurants and the boardwalk. The owners thought of everything and were very responsive.
