"This seems to be the newest and probably the best hotel accommodations in town. Convenient to see the Kagura show at the nearby shrine. I would recommend it to anyone. Try to get one of the larger rooms."

"Quirky and remote property from the Showa era that evokes Ghibli-esque charm. The weather was cold and rainy but our stay at one of the cabins was warm and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were varied and delicious. Staff spoke English. Highly recommend! "

"Most of service staff are polite and willing to assist when needed. The room are adequate size. Parking is across the street but have limited space. It’s seems old but the hotel and its room are always clean."

"We had a fantastic stay here! The staff Alex and the team, were super friendly and had even planned daily group activities. We ordered the dinner set and it was incredible! We were able to get a ride to and from the train station, which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend giving them a call if you need to (we just used a payphone) as there was issues with sending messages on this website. "This was advertised as having a kitchen. Kitchen facilities are in another building that are communal. The other option is to rent a gas burner. Everything is extra (e.g. trash, gas burner). Heater for room kept turning off. Barely enough space for 3 futons. Japanese communal bathrooms near bungalows, western style in main building. We only stayed one of the two nights booked even though we did not get a refund."
