"Location is near the train station. Room was clean and neat, appliances were good. Staffs are very kind and efficient in handling our requests. Kitchenware, coffees, etc. are available at the shared pantry. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!"

"The futons were comfortable. Aircon and quiet sliding doors were helpful. Liked having a microwave oven and kettle and washing detergent. However, there was only one sink in the house. Front office staff and cleaners were polite, friendly and accommodating. Appreciated the free washing machine usage and the relatively cheap clothes dryer fee. "It was my first time staying at a hostel and I was so pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of my bunk and shower/ bathroom areas. The staff are lovely and the hostel itself is very close to Oji station and dining options. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Tokyo."

"Staff was nice but don't speak English. However it's a shared common restroom area by a few guests rooms, the room was small but okay comfortable, the lightings in the room didn't work well at all, it's hard to get service there. I wouldn't recommend this place although it's conveniently located only 18 minutes of walking to the area for the fireworks festival. The WiFi wasn't straightforward either. Not working well. "It felt like a home away from home. Located in a charming small town area minutes from bustling Ikebukuro by train, you can get a glimpse of daily life in residential Tokyo. I stayed in the bunk bed room on the upper floor. It was a comfy bed and it never got uncomfortable, though I wasn't sure whether the light in the room is supposed to be left on or not. "It's cool how they're complete with a mini stove, fridge, microwave and other amenities even though they're price is really cheap. There's a lot of good places to eat around the area and a 7/11 and mini grocery store beside it."
