Classy Sun Meadows Favorite

It doesn't get any classier than this condo!

You will be impressed with this newly remodeled Sun Meadows home. Beautifully decorated with luxury amenities such as granite counter tops, custom cabinets with island bar seating, top of the line bedding, flat-screen tv's, stone tile floors, french door refrigerator and comfortable living style. Everything in this condo has been replaced to maximize the true serene environment of the Kirkwood valley. Attention to detail shows at every decision from furnishings, luggage carts, window coverings, kitchen appliances and bed configurations. The owner's bought all new kitchen ware in 2016 so you will be cooking in not only a new kitchen but new utensils too! This is a 2 bedroom condo each having their own bath and two queen beds. This would be best for two small families or one large one. The living room has a queen sofa bed with an adjoining bedroom while the other bedroom can lock off to create a separate "hotel style" bedroom. This lock off bedroom is complete with it's own small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot/grill/toaster unit.

Pros: this property is right across from the Solitude chair lift, and in the same building as the Cornice restaurant. Comfortable room, nice furnishings. Underground parking was great too. Cons: wish they would fix the issues with the internet and tv

Great location at Kirkwood

It was super convenient and nice place for us to enjoy skiing at Kirkwood. We had a great time during our stay. Check-in was very easy. The only thing that wasn't accurate was the wifi information. The rental booklet on the kitchen island had a correct/updated wifi info. There's some extra fee for the reservation, but we still recommend this place.

Great location

Pros - great location, beds are comfortable, the cabin is clean, plenty of parking, easy to reach someone for help, kitchen has everything you need, excellent communication. Cons - No AC, the code to unlock the door didn't work when we checked in, no hot water because someone forgot to turn on the switch and we waited for 30 mins. Overall, nice place to stay, will come again.

Nice place. Great location. Bit stingy on supplies.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The one thing that really annoyed us was that we were only given dishwasher pods for two nights on a five night stay. It’s a small annoyance, but felt so stingy for such an expensive rental. There’s nowhere to buy more in Kirkwood, so we were stuck handwashing all week. Not what we had in mind “classy” rental.

Stinky and hot!

Smells like a motel 6! Hade coffee no filters! No A/C hotter than hell!! Area was fantastic! But, would not stay in same units!!!!!!!!!! If something else is available I’d go there!!!

Smells of smoke

This property had an obvious fire and the property manager did not communicate it prior to our stay. The one bedroom was terrible and the air cleaner unit they had running was not enough to make the room bearable. I let my 2 daughters who were competing sleep in the other room which did not smell as bad but it was terrible in my room. I do not believe a property manager should expect people to stay in units that underwent fires without notification and an option to cancel or move to another unit as the air quality was not acceptable.

Location is perfect for skiing & boarding. One of the nicest properties I've stayed at in Kirkwood (everything was updated). Most of the properties at Kirkwood are old and outdated and usually have broken items.

Very Strict Cancellation Policy

We couldn’t make it to the property because of the big winter storm that lasted for weeks. Many records were set with the storm. The property managers have a very strict cancellation policy. Wouldn’t work with us at all, 5k down the drain. We also got one email saying don’t come because the previous tenants might still be there. So at one point our thought was we are still have to pay but we aren’t allowed to show up? Later a manager said we could have shown up. I will say the property managers were responsive and their cancellation policy is clearly written on the booking. It just didn’t feel write to charge someone 5 thousand dollars when they couldn’t make it in at all. Highways did open but they were for “essential travel only”. We wanted to do the right thing and respect that order but the property managers didn’t make it easy to do so. Wouldn’t negotiate or work with us at all unfortunately :-(

Just a one week getaway

Didn't want to stay in South Lake to avoid the crowds, due to COVID concerns. Kirkwood was quite deserted this time of the year, which was perfect. Over the weekend some partiers came.. And it was quite loud in the neighborhood. But overall a good stay

Spacious, great location and fully stocked!

This was a very spacious condo, plenty of beds and closet space for 10 people's items. The kitchen was a great size for making large meals and plenty of seating to eat at. We needed a third parking pass and they responded to our call within 5 minutes with a parking pass at our door. Fantastic service in a great location for a ski weekend!
