"Excellent location, with the most friendly and professional staff. Staff were very accommodating and made me feel special during my 1 night 2 day stay. This would be my first choice of hotel if I needed to stay in Basingstoke again. A truly lovely experience."

"Fantastic service from start to finish, all members of staff literally could not so enough for us. We stayed in the Executive Suite in Mansion House. Room was extremely spacious and because it was our wedding anniversary, there were a lot of personal touches in the room like welcome gifts, balloons etc which was greatly appreciated. Food options were slightly limited but they were fine for our stay. Breakfast was lovely and had lots of options! We will definitely be staying here again… Thank you to everyone for making our stay an amazing experience. The only issue is, how is this hotel only a 3.5 Star hotel and not rated as a 5 Star because that’s what the hotel and staff deserve because at every step, they gave us 5 Star service! "

"Good value for the price. Exceptionally clean.Large spacious room, very comfotable bed. I requested a ground floor room; I was told it would open onto the car park which is in a secure off-street courtyard, but that was actually very convenient for me. Good breakfast. Centrally located in Newbury."
