We couldn't have found a more comfortable, convenient, and magical place to stay. Spacious, beautiful art, every commodity, little garden to care for if you can. The lady looking after us was very helpful.
The property was comfortable, perfectly positioned in the town center (but in a quiet location) and so beautifully decorated. Such an amazing little house. We cannot wait to return.
Trisha’s home was much lovelier than the photos: it was exquisite and also comfortable. Trisha was very helpful, and the location was steps from our favorite restaurant. We would gladly stay there again.
Lovely little house in the heart of the town. Everything one needs within walking distance. We had a wonderful fortnight there and would stay again if we go back to Kinsale.
A great spot. Trisha was grand. The property was exactly as advertised and super convenient to all that Kinsale has to offer. High recommend 8 Upper O'Connell Street.
We loved this property. It immediately felt like home. It’s well equipped, stylishly decorated and extremely comfortable. It’s just a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Kinsale, but has parking, which was great. Trisha, the host, was friendly and helpful too. We are already missing the place!
Great cottage about 2 mins walk to centre , cottage had everything you needed to cater for a family. Courtyard had sun from 11am to 7pm and we used that time to sit outside. All in all we had a great stay and really enjoyed the cottage and all its art work .
Trish is a Super host. 18 Higher O’Connell Street is really lovely. Everything there that one needs. Perfectly clean and comfortable. Beautiful outside space. Convenient location. Everything within walking distance. We loved our stay there and would choose this property again when visiting kinsale. Trish was most attentive and helpful.
When we opened the door to the house we had a surprise: it is so much more spacious and lighter than expected from the outside. The back of the house has large windows looking onto the patio and the open plan space is delightful. The house is beautifully furnished, not the minimal furnishing of many rentals, and it wrapped itself round us. The location is perfect, a short walk to everything, shops, restaurants and pubs. And the parking behind the house is a precious bonus in Kinsale. We highly recommend the house.
We loved the apartment for a week in Kinsale. Loved the decor and functionality of it. It was a great space for me and my husband to spread out, make our daily coffee and breakfast, take a long walk on the Compass Hill, launch a day trip to Bantry or Cork and then have dinner at a lovely restaurant in town. Living room was cosy for evening TV, dining room worked well for work calls, courtyard was lovely on the couple days of sun we had. Trisha was very responsive with a hot water issue we had at the bathroom sink. Best of all was it’s location right above town. For the week, we felt like we lived in Kinsale!
Beautiful property w a lovely fenced in sunken courtyard w 2 sets of French doors that lead out to it. Cottage is at top of a hill. You can walk up and down the hill or take the Anne Bonnie stairs. 61 steps. The steps in the cottage leading to the wonderful bedrooms are very steep. The rooms are very spacious w the best comforters ever around. Mattresses was a bit to firm for me. To get hot water for sinks you need to hit a switch. Pull the string for the shower hot water. And it gets hot. Be careful. There are radiators for heat that you need to turn on if you want them warm and remember to turn them
Off when you won’t be in that room. We only used the kitchen one. We mostly used the fireplace. If I ever had a a question I got an answer right away. The building is a pale pink and in the sun at first it looks more white. Parking is a challenge. There is parking behind it. Get a small car. It’s tight to get up the small hill that is kinda like a super narrow drive w a building on one side brink wall on the other and a couple of turns you need to make. Our 1st try we added some we white paint to the car from the building. We did not have a small car. In Kinsale you need a little car. Parking is a challenge, the roads are narrow and people are parking blocking lanes. The cottage had a great kitchen w everything you need. Somee Wed items are left behind for others. We left extra toilet paper and some orchard thieves cider. Along w some tea lights. Large dining room table. Has a washer. Not a fan of the condenser dryer but the drying rack is upstairs in the closet. It worked good. Kitchen gets morning sun and dries the clothes nicely. Place is decorated very nice. Lots of books to choose from. We bought some flowers and there is a vase there. Wine glasses for wine. For the money it’s a great option.
This property was uber cute and super sweet on all accounts. The house is wonderfully outfitted with everything you need. Trish was lovely to deal with any time we had questions. Her house is so exquisite and decorated so nicely. We loved every moment of our cozy cuddly stay.
We had an amazing stay in Trisha's property. It felt like a real home from home. Such a great location, literally moments from the centre of Kinsale. The house has everything you could possibly need, so well equipped. Really comfy for lounging round on rainy days, we enjoyed watching the Olympics on the cosy couch! Lovely outdoor area for eating when the sun came out. Comfy beds and soft linen. We loved everything about this property and we will hopefully be back some time. Thanks Trisha.
We cannot recommend Trisha’s house enough. We completely relaxed in it and it has a very welcoming feeling.
It is beautifully furnished & very comfortable. The house is very central, with easy access to everything.
Trisha was a great host, giving us suggestions of places of interest. Trisha also let us stay an extra night which was a great gift. Thank you once again Trisha, we really hope to return soon.
We have had the loveliest week here in Trisha's gorgeous house in Kinsale. We made lots of great trips during our week here including a beautiful drive to Mizen Head. I can only describe the restaurants here as being in food heaven. Hoping to return soon Julie
The most beautiful little house right in the centre of kinsale
We had such a lovely week in Trisha’s beautifully designed house. Such an interesting little country cottage, so well equipped and very comfortable. The little garden was such a bonus and location is ideal. We will definitely be returning and Trisha was a pleasure to deal with.
Beautiful house, very eclectic and quirky and very comfortable. Most importantly it is exactly what you see online. Excellent location, will definitely be back.
