"Check in was quick and easy. Beds were very comfortable. Left sign out for room cleaning but no one ever came to change sheets or give us fresh towels. Had to go get towels myself."

Adorable little escape

"This house was perfect for our stay there. The man next door that takes care of the yard was so nice and helpful. We sat in the back at night and enjoyed the weather. I hated that we had to leave a day early, but we enjoyed it while we had it."

I love the smell of avgas in the morning!

Airshow time!! Last year, the US government cut back on defense department spending, which cut into airshow performances around the United States. This year, the US Navy Blue Angels and the US Air Force Thunderbirds have been given the all-clear to perform at various shows around the country.

This shot of two Blue Angels F-18 Hornets making a high speed and close pass was taken at the South Texas Airshow on March 29th, at Naval Air Station, Kingsville. You'll see great performances like this at a lot of airshows this year.
