"We enjoyed immensely our stay at Hydrangea House. The location was ideal for us, and the suite we had was roomy and comfortable. The breakfast in the charming dining room was worth staying there by itself. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Newport."

"This property was perfect. Lovely hosts, great communication and location. Walk to beach and restaurants. Everything provided for kitchen, bed and bathrooms. Welcomed with a personally written card and nice surprise. Amy and Carl really care and it shows. Look forward to returning. Thank you."

"Well appointed, small guest house with easy access in a quiet neighborhood. Second time our group has stayed here. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the area. The host was very responsive and easy to work with."

"This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B."

"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
