Enjoy this cozy cabin in the woods. Nestled in the red pines just minutes from Traverse City. Appreciate all that the seasons have to offer with family and friends. Relax by the outdoor fire pit or enjoy the beautiful lakes nearby. The Northern Michigan night sky offers an amazing view of the Milky Way and even an occasional display of the Northern Lights. Unplug and enjoy the woodlands and when you want to reconnect with the outside world there is wireless internet and a 60" tv, or take time for a game of shuffleboard. Freestanding fireplace gives a relaxing glow while watching the beautiful sunsets. One mile to ORV, snowmobile and equestrian trails. Close to the TART biking and hiking trails, 18 hole disk golf course, lakes, casinos, wineries and shopping. Pets are welcome for a small additional fee.

This house was the perfect place for us to get away from the noise of the life while still being a short drive away from all of what traverse city has to offer. The hosts were PHENOMENAL! Extremely responsive and so welcoming and polite during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Overall Wayne was really accommodating, the cabin had everything we need and everything couldn't have been better for our stay. Perfect place to stay for a trip up north. Highly recommend.

The property and amenities were excellent. One could easily cook meals here and have a nice family gathering or friend gathering. Beds were comfortable and clean, we played shuffleboard, and enjoyed the outdoor space. Highly recommend!

The cabin had everything we needed. Immaculately clean, decor was super cute! We loved that it was a little out of the hustle and bustle but still close enough. Owners were very responsive when we had questions. Would most definitely stay again! Very highly recommend!

Perfect northern MI lodge!
We love the Hodge Lodge! Such a cool place with friendly hosts. It is a renovated barn/garage and is perfect for a family getaway. Very clean and awesome for pets and people of all ages. We loved the property and enjoyed the firepit and the porch swing! Awesome location outside Traverse City and the local lakes.

Cozy stay in the north woods
Lovely visit - cabin was comfortable, cozy and and ideal for unwinding in front of the gas stove inside, porch swing or outdoor fire pit. Wildlife was special and the location get remote although it is close to Traverse City.

Immaculate- Peaceful - Enjoyable
Our hosts thought of everything. Fire ready to start, marshmallows ready to roast and a porch swing over looking pines. Beds were comfy, sheets and towels feel brand new. The only thing we wished for was better weather! Hope to be back soon.

Hodge Lodge is a Gem!
We were very pleased with the hospitality provided to us during our stay. Close enough to get to TC, but far enough out to enjoy the country setting. Wayne was an amazing host and our son loved riding the tractor. Pet friendly and a well maintained property - hope to return!
