Located on prime ' Lake LBJ 'waterfront on one of the most popular Highland Lakes in the Central Texas Hill Country - Lake LBJ - the Dickey Lake House lake home vacation rental in Kingsland, TX, offers guests plenty of fun in the sun! This 3 bedroom + Bonus 'Living/Sleeping' Room home rental on the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ, has a range of facilities perfect for a family gathering, including three sets of bunk beds, a Main House and a separate Guest House quarters connected by the laundry facility, with two 65-inch flat screen TVs, a two-story boat and jet ski dock w/ top deck 'rope swing', a circular outdoor fire pit with sitting area, large outdoor patio with smoker and Turbo STS stainless steel propane barbecue and Big Green Egg, large double lot grassy lawn perfect for outdoor games, large driveway with ample parking, just to name a few!
A spacious yard covered by two large trees provides much outdoor space (and shade) for activities or just lounging in the sun, while the boat dock features a jet ski dock, boat lift w/ a swimming deck on the bottom, and a spacious top deck with rope swing, chaise lounges for sunbathing and LOTS of room for LOTS of fun-in-the-sun.
The main home and guest home combined can sleep a total of 14 persons: The main home can sleep eight people with a master with a king bed, sun-room with a twin trundle bed and bunk room with two sets of twin bunk beds, while the separate Back Home can sleep six with a king bed, sleeper sofa and set of bunk beds. Main Home: The Spanish-tiled main lake home features one master bedroom with a master bath, one kids room, a windowed sun porch + bonus bedroom, a kitchen, and guest bathroom. The master bedroom has a dresser and a king-size bed. The kids room features two bunk beds, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, and a spacious closet. Five rocking chairs, ceiling fans, and a trundle bed with two twins are on the sun porch (bonus bedroom), which provides great views of the lake. The kitchen/dining area has a stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, double oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dining table and spacious cabinets and drawers with all kitchen utensils.

The bathroom has a shower-bathtub combo, two spacious cabinets, and a sink. Guest Home: The quaint studio guest home is perfect for a small family. Like the main home, the guest home features Spanish-tile flooring, giving it a clean look. The home features a bunk bed, king-size bed, sleeper sofa, kitchen area, living area, and one bathroom. The guest homes living area features a couch, a -65inch TV and ceiling fan. The back guest home kitchen/dining area has a stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dining table and spacious cabinets.
The bathroom features a shower, sink, and a large cabinet. The large driveway has enough space for cars and you can easily park a boat trailer.

So fun!

Memorial weekend stay
My family and friends had a great time at this house for the long weekend. Neighbors were very polite and talked to us just about every day. Property was very clean and maintained, the children played in the yard and swam off the boat dock every chance they got. Check in and check out directions were clear and easy to follow. Communication with property owners was great as well. Would definitely book this property again in the future.

It’s been nearly 6 years since our last stay at Dickie Lake house, and while it’s certainly been updated it still retains the Family lake house charm & feel! If you’re seeking ultra modernistic antiseptic lodging Dickie lake house probably isn’t for you! But if your looking for plenty of room for family to spread out, great patio cooking area, amazing shaded backyard, and super convenient location to all the lake things, this place has it! We will make it a point to continue renting here on any future visits to Lake LBJ!

Great vacation house!!
This is my family and friends 8 or 9th time to rent and stay at the Ellen Williams house. We love staying here. The house is clean and sleeps a lot of people. It is on a great part of the river where the surfing and swimming off the dock are great. My husband loves the house because it has a boat dock with a lift and a place to park the jet ski. Brent is awesome to work with and I have all ready book our vacation to stay there again in the summer of 2018. It is my kids favorite vacation every year and they look forward to it all year long.

Great getaway!
What a wonderful trip we had! Had a small issue with check in, owner was on the phone within minutes to correct, was corrected and the rest of the stay was perfect! Like the other reviews state, this house has everything you need! The dock is so fun, the lounge chairs on the upper deck are great for shade or sun, lower deck was fun for fishing and floating off of! Beds were comfortable and the linens are great quality! We were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave and cannot wait to book here again and make this house a family tradition! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

One of our best vacations!
We generally take cruises for our vacation but decided to stay closer to home this year. We have 4 children, 8-14, and they were never in the house. They were outside playing or fishing, according to them this was the best vacation ever. The home was wonderful with everything we needed. We loved the dock, we had 2 boats and they fit well. Overall Great Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this residence on the lake. The yard and dock providing more than enough recreational opportunities for our group, whether we were playing horse shoes, baseball, fishing, or swimming. The houses were extremely clean and inviting with ample room for bigger groups. All of the aforementioned amenities were satisfactory, except all the propane tanks were empty, and we were unable to utilize the outdoor cooking area. The front and back porches had not been cleaned, the air filter needed replaced and we encountered a few roaches. Those few detractors wouldn’t prevent me from returning or recommending this property to anyone. It is a great place to stay!

Beautiful View and Amazing Lake House
Every year my family comes together and this year was the best so far. The yard is beautiful and large. The view of the lake is amazing. We had 8 kids from age 9-3 who played outside and swam for most of the day. The house met all our needs and then some. Brent was awesome to work with to ensure our needs were met. The entire family agreed it was a great house and a great location for future gatherings. Thank you Dickey family for opening up your house and treating us like we were your guests. Love this Lake House!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dickey Lake House. This was our second time to stay here. Perfect accommodations for our growing family...our son & his family stayed in the garage conversion and rest of us in the main house. Plenty of room for all 8 of us to gather around the table to eat and play board games. Porch was the perfect spot for breakfast, the lawn is great for yard games and loved making s'mores at the fire pit. The kitchen is large and well stocked with everything you need for meals and baking. Boat dock and jet ski ramp are great, too! We caught many perch, catfish, bass and fresh water drum right from the dock. Our family is already talking about going back next year. Thanks, The Sims Family

Family Reunion
Jolie was extremely accommodating to our family - letting us in early since we had a 4 month old. Truly appreciated the flexibility. Great location on water, beautiful house & dock views. Some issues we ran into: multiple hornets nests in front/back at entry points and outside seating areas (had to purchase wasp spray), lots of bugs inside house (due to settling, all the windows don't close properly & let in bugs), 2 of the smoke detectors were missing, construction going on next door did not allow for sleeping in - started at 7 for 2 mornings (nothing you can do about this one), trash service did not pick up as scheduled, property conditions just seemed a little rundown (cracked windows/pictures, missing outlet covers, etc.).

Great location and well stocked home for a family get-away right on the lake!
The house was recently renovated, due to the flood of October 2018, so everything was brand new and very clean. Plenty of sleep options for 3 adults and 3 kids (ages 8, 8, & 11). There is even a separate, very roomy apartment that sleeps 4 easily with full bath and kitchenette. Loved the huge master bathroom and shower! There are plenty of seating options both inside and outside. Three Tv's and internet access! (We have T-Mobile so our cell phone use was a little spotty.) The kitchen was the most well stocked rental I have ever used - every utensil, pot, pan, dish and appliance you can think of was available! We cooked all our meals there and even used the fire pit for foil dinners and S'Mores. The only negative I can say about the kitchen is that the drawers and cabinets are very hard to open as there are no knobs or handles. At first, we thought the waterfront was going to be too busy but after we got used to it everyone enjoyed the waves from the passing boats (also of note, you can't hear the boats when you're in the house and there were long stretches of time with no boat traffic). We brought our own life jackets for the grandkids and us, so it was fun to bob in the waves! The water was great for swimming and even though we couldn't coax our grandkids to jump off the high platform, my husband and I both did and the grandkids loved it! We rented a pontoon boat fm nearby Splash Boat Rental for a day and rode up and down the river and found the sand bar where we anchored and got out to swim in shallow water and the grandkids played on the beach. We set up the ping pong table on the carport but unfortunately we were plagued by wasps and noticed there were several nests up above. We contacted the owner and he immediately sent over someone to knock them down. The owner, Brent Dickey, was extremely responsive, answering my texts very quickly. We loved the huge shady trees that provided much needed shade for our stay when it was in the high 90's! We can't wait to come back! Thank you Dickey Family for providing such a great lake retreat!

I have stayed this property several times and had a great experience. This time as soon as we walked in the house it smelled of a dog, there was dog hair everywhere the bed the couch etc. Also there was dog poop in the yard we had to be careful. And I had told the hostess the back house the lock wasn’t working and she had she said her handyman had to fix it. I don’t think I should have to pay forThe cleaning fee

Great property
We really enjoyed our time at this property. We’ve been going to Lake LBJ since 1993, but had not stayed on the Colorado arm of the lake. The property was perfect and the lake was beautiful. The owner was quick to answer questions when I messaged her. We had a problem with the boat lift and the owner promptly sent a gentleman to repair it. It rained during our stay and the sunroom facing the lake was a perfect place to hang out, play games and visit. We truly enjoyed our time there!
