The castle was made into an amazing historic hotel complete with so much original architecture. We stayed in one of the cottages which were new builds but so well designed that you might think you were in part of a historic castle. The cottage was very spacious and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The staff were brilliant. Emma was fantastic, very welcoming and deserves all the bonuses you could ever give her. The grounds and beautiful and the room was lovely and very comfortable. We have been to stay before and we will be back again hopefully in the near future.

Lovely venue. Grounds are beautiful. Beds very comfortable and rooms are a very generous size. Only grumble is the sound insulation, difficult to tackle in an old castle I’d concede but the people above or to the side don’t have to be particularly loud before it becomes intrusive. Food and service in restaurant was excellent

We had 3 different types of rooms as there were 7 of us travelling together, all rooms were different but all beautifully decorated and clean. The property was well maintained lots of seating areas. There was a couple of weddings the night of our stay but you didn’t hear any noise from them. I would recommend this place as a must stay to anyone visiting Ireland.
