Super property with lots of character and good parking. Very comfortable and spacious for eight people. Walking distance to local pub and shop and great location for beaches.
We enjoyed our stay in this unique property, great walks, near by pub, shop and post office. We also had lovely Easter Sunday lunch in the hotel. The house has loads of character and really worth visiting.
The house has bags of character and provided a very comfortable stay for our family of 8 ranging from age 14-80. Everything we could have wanted or needed was there. The beds were very comfy and the views were a delight. We were able to walk to the shop, pub and sea from the house and Salcombe was a short drive away.
Large and spacious property. Beautiful place and excellent location for the south Devon coast. We swam, body boarded and walked. Evening in front of the fire and playing piano.
Brilliant stay in a very comfy large cottage/ house
Large, comfortable, well equipped and warm house . Squashy comfortable sofas, good Wi-Fi. Fabulous garden which would be lovely in summer. Parking tricky for a larger vehicle ( we have VW camper van), especially reversing out onto the road.we had a lovely Christmas week here and loved coming back after walking along the wild and windy shores!!
A very good property. Very well equipped with a good standard of plates, utensils, kitchen crockery etc. Large garden good and safe for children. Location very good for walking into village. Overall, highly recommended.
A group of 8 family members enjoyed a weeks stay between Christmas and new year. We had a wonderful time. Location of the house is 5 mins walk to local pub and shop and 10 mins to a great coastal walk and a number of beaches. Weather was windy and very wet but didn’t stop us from exploring the coast line and local villages - Salcombe and Kingsbridge then returning to a lovely fire. House is furnished with everything you need. Highly recommend
What a find. Comfortable and homely house with a wonderful view of the sea. Great location.
We all enjoyed the generous welcome pack and appreciated all the niceties. Garden well equipped- we even used the hammock! Linen/ towels all good. Would have liked warning of the pond as we had a toddler. Many internal steps too. Overall we loved this property and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Super property.
Spacious, character, stone built property with a generous garden and sea views. Cool inside during hot weather which was a bonus. Comfortable general areas. Parking for a van plus 2 cars. Quiet location.
Steps down to the kitchen are not ideal. Fish pond could be a risk.
Suited us very well. A return visit. Highly recommend. So handy for Bantham Beach and for relaxing in the evening.
