Syderstone Common, a nature reserve owned by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, is a lovely place to walk and give your furry friend a good run out. Houghton Hall and Gardens is just over 4 miles away with its contemporary sculptures, famous exhibitions and the largest private collection of model soldiers in the world. RSPB Snettisham and Pensthorpe Natural Park are also close by, while Sandringham Estate is only 10 miles away. Head to Blakeney (17 miles) and hop on a boat to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve where you’re likely to spot some local seal!

This leads through into the open-plan kitchen/diner, which is equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal to enjoy at the nearby dining table as you plan the next day’s adventure. At the end of the kitchen are wide sliding doors that open out onto the garden – a beautiful spot in the warmer months when the sun is shining. At the front of this welcoming home is a cosy lounge with a wood burner to warm those toes after coast and country hikes. A cloakroom completes the ground floor.
