"Overall it was good service and a nice room! However, the staff did not always communicate well or in a timely manner. We ordered a meal item from bar (chips and salsa/guac) not being told it came from the kitchen and not the bar so we waited 30-45 min for just cold chips and cold plain guac. The bartender should have mentioned the wait and the chair loung was $200 but had a minimum of $175 F&B minimum on top of that and the top part that was supposed to provide shade from the sun kept rolling back and not providing sun cover. Also, we did not get our room cleaned for 2 days in a row and had to call for bed linens and towels ourselves multiple times. By the time we called again they said there wasn't staff so we slept on used sheets again. We did end up with linens one night that they just dropped off at the door and we had to change the bed ourselves. The bellhop also gave us incorrect information. We asked about Alys Beach and he highly recommended it saying it was beautiful and a great place we should go to. We drove 30 min there to find it completely under construction and a ghost town. The hotel restaurant was also overpriced and the food was tolerable. They were out of pancakes and gave me a waffle with powdered sugar instead. I expected it to be a bit more decadent given the atmosphere and price, so don't waste your money there. The hotel stay was a bit frustrating, especially for the prices, but it is a tourist area so the elevated prices are somewhat to be expected."

It ended up Hotels.com had to give us a refund because the hotel debited our account for the full amount. Again, that put a big strain on her spending and we had to cut a lot of our plans out I’m not really sure if I could book again this way it was really hard But all in all the hotel itself was really nice"

"The hotels in a great location it’s beautiful it always smelt good and clean. The staff is so friendly. Michelle is very professional and all front desk personnel all the ladies and men I’m sorry I didn’t get the other ones names a perfect solo trip for a couple days. I would recommend Hilton at this location. Walking distance to the beach."
