Charming 1 bedroom Lakefront

Cute Tahoe lakefront home located in Brockway Vista on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, solid surface counter tops and a flagstone floor. Located close to skiing, hiking, beaches, restaurants, shopping, and all Tahoe has to offer. This home includes a rocky beach and buoy. One of Tahoe's best sandy beaches is within walking distance. Walk to all Kings Beach has to offer - great restaurants and shopping. There is a lovely deck with a great outdoor dining space as you watch the sunset over Lake Tahoe. Other amenities include cable TV, DVD, wood burning fireplace. This sweet home is 1000 square feet - perfect for two people.

**The outdoor gas fire place is not functional
PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation. Wells & Bennett Realtors requires $500 of your reservation total due upon booking and the remainder due sixty days prior to check-in. We automatically add Vacation Rental Accidental Damage Insurance to your reservation. This costs $45 total. If you want to satisfy our Accidental Damage Insurance requirement another way, you can reach out to us and opt in for a refundable security deposit of $3,000 on the card we have on file for the reservation.

Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.

Holiday Booking Policy
CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th or 25th
NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29.

Absolutely loved staying at this property. The house is adorable and cozy with an ideal location right on the lake with a gorgeous view of the sunset. It is walking distance from town so you never have to get in your car. Can't wait to come back!

What a great property!!! The house was perfect for 2 with AMAZING views, especially sunsets! It was furnished with everything we needed. There were stairs in the yard that led directly down to the water. I definitely recommend this property.

Excellent spot for just a couple or a couple with 1-2 small children
Fantastic location in King’s Beach, North Lake Tahoe. Centrally located to almost any part of North Tahoe and the northern ski areas. The pictures in the VRBO listing don’t do the cabin justice. It exceeded our expectations, at a very reasonable rate. My wife and I are looking to go back soon. We enjoyed every minute at this beautiful property.

Hard to Beat First Experience
My wife and I celebrated our 16th anniversary and had never experienced Lake Tahoe. When we walked in the view of the lake and mountains was stunning! We couldn't have been happier and even after thinking for a while we couldn't have asked for anything to be better! Will definitely be back and want to be back frequently.

Great couples getaway on the lake!
Lovely spot right on the lake, just as promised from the pictures. Great space for a couple. Bed was comfortable. There is some extra sleeping area in a loft space, but it was pretty hot up there so I'm not sure how comfortable it would actually be to sleep up there. I wish there were few more basics in the kitchen (e.g. some simple food storage for leftovers, baking sheet, liquid measuring cups). Overall wonderful stay, and would definitely return!

Property is older and small, but set back from the Main Street to be mostly quiet which we cherish. Views spectacular. Items that need replacing: front porch light, smoke detector battery, fire extinguisher is on empty. Pots n pans could be updated. Grill needs maintenance and fire pit is missing a slate tale. Fencing needs repair. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

Unbeatable value and North Lake Tahoe location
This is a perfect property for a couple with one small child. The location right on the lake afforded us beautiful lake views and sunsets, plus fun beach trips for our toddler. The property was a very pleasant, safe, and short walk to the Kings Beach recreation area and restaurants. The house itself provided all the amenities to keep us cozy, warm, and comfortable (heated floors were a plus!), plus entertained (TV + various board / card games + a loft for our toddler to explore), plus self sufficient (ample cookware and kitchen appliances). The only rough edges we noticed were some carpet stains and some insulation protruding from the air vents, but only in a few locations, and this did not detract from our stay. We would definitely return to this property for future visits to Lake Tahoe!

Great Location
We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lake Tahoe. The house is in a great location in King's Beach, close to restaurants and a grocery store. Beautiful views from the deck. We enjoyed grilling on the gas grill and lighting the gas firepit at night. The house is smaller than it appears in the photos. I would say it's perfect for 2 people. The only thing I wish the owners would consider doing is purchasing a couple of Kayaks for guests to use. The area is quiet and very peaceful on the water. Most of the neighboring houses have kayaks and paddleboards. The house has direct lake access. We Googled and found a gentleman who was willing to deliver kayak's directly to the house. It was so nice to launch from the house rather than drive somewhere and rent from a kayak stand.

Lovey stay
Cute property, great beach access, great view. Parking was properly described so I could plan for it. The house is fully stocked with cutlery, dinnerware and a decent selection of cooking items. I made a roast, and wanted for no equipment ( With a minimum 3 day stay, I would do the fireplace ashes situation differently. We are directed not to empty the ashes, but I recommend a metal bucket which I could use, instead. It was kind of a bummer to not get to have a fire any more, because the fireplace was full. Everything in the house worked except the in floor heating in the kitchen (think it was GFI, probably easy to fix if I knew where to look), the bathroom faucet was super loose, like the securing nut needed tightening, and one if the jets in the tub did not work. Super comfortable bed, with lots of very nice pillows and blankets. Easy check in and out!

Goose House - Great Location - Aging Interior
This property has beautiful lake front views, and an easy walk to Kings Beach. Location is top notch. As for the interior the carpet is old and stained, the appliances are showing their age, as in the ice maker in the fridge was on the fritz. No AC. The cabinets and appliances all need to be seriously cleaned as in grease on counters and on cabinet handles, and embedded in the Microwave. Fire extinguisher was showing empty, and smoke alarm was non-functional. Finally, the washer/dryer area has rolled up old carpets in it and a terrible odor that needs to be aired out before entering. All that said the views are to die for -- and with a little updating this place could pull in much more than it's currently renting for. Hope this was helpful -- you have a great property that could be a FANTASTIC property if you do some updating.

Great Location, Poor Condition of House
The property location is fantastic with great views of the lake and easily walkable to downtown and the beach. The views of the lake from the side windows and back deck are excellent. The lots are narrow and houses are a few feet apart on the left side. The neighbors to the left were not home. If they had been you would be hearing their conversations. It was nice to have lake access from the backyard and we were able to Kayak from the property. The house is in need of a major cleaning and overhaul. The bathroom is nice but everything else is dated. The carpets throughout are worn and stained and the master bedroom bedspread appears to be old and the kind that can't easily be washed. We removed it while there. I would highly suggest the owners invest in washable duvet covers and updated linens. As far as the kitchen, it has a good layout for the space, appliances are ok, but the cooking utensils and tableware are cheap, limited and old. It would be a simple fix to purchase some nice plates, silverware, reusable storage containers (there were none), mixing bowls, serving spoons etc. The TV and equipment are older with the slow internet speed. There is a lot of clutter in the house, master closet, laundry and kitchen that could be organized or removed. The back deck is nice and where we spent most of our time. However, the wood bench/table is hard to sit on for long periods of time. We brought camping chairs and used those. We had beautiful warm weather which creates hot afternoons on the deck with no shade. We had to purchase an umbrella to enjoy the outside, they did have a stand we could use. We stayed for 11 days and the lawn was not mowed when we arrived nor the whole time we were there. I emailed the property manager twice, who responded right away, but the yard crew never showed. Unfortunately we would not stay there again or recommend this property unless they refurnished the house and remodeled the flooring. It is a jewel of a property in a nice quiet town of Tahoe, but needs some TLC and consideration for the guests.
