"I wanted a cozy retreat from DC over the holiday, and this was perfect. The dog loved running around the lot and taking walks around the vineyard. I loved the views of the pond, the eagles, and having plenty of space for puzzles, drawing, and reading. I took a speaker for tunes. No wifi but my cell worked fine, as did my hot spot. "If I could give the property 10 stars I would! The place was absolutely amazing. It was very clean and I loved the layout. This is the first time I stayed at a log cabin and we will definitely be back! Every time I sent a message to the owner she responded so quickly. We even were able to enjoy the fire pit. "My family and I spent one night at this cute lake house. The house is fantastic—new, very clean, and well-equipped with toiletries, snacks, coffee, and creamers, plenty of towels, blankets, and games. The WiFi connection was reliable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. We had a great time overall despite very cold and windy weather. The communication with the owner was excellent, especially when we had questions about entering and locking the house on our way out."

We had our adult children there for Christmas dinner- and I’m quite sure they will be renting this house in the future.
