"I must say I was pleasantly surprised at this Motel 6 although they are in the middle of remodeling the room I had was awesome. Super clean, very modern and pet friendly! The bed was so super comfortable! The appliances are brand new, and the TV choices were refreshing. The water pressure is out of this world. I highly recommend staying here if you can put up with a little bit of construction going on. It’s not going on at night. At night It’s actually very quiet here. And the price the price...

"The hotel was not open. I confirmed with Hotels.com before going because of the hurricane. Hotels.com said they checked and it was open. There was no ref on the building when I arrived. Closed for significant hurricane damage. I slept in the car as everywhere in the area was booked. "

"Mixed understanding of what is meant by area around property. The Horseshoe area is very well done. Easy parking, lovely landscaping, the lake on one side. However, it is surrounded by an industrial and run down area (at least what is driven through the last mile, or so, to get here). But don’t let that stop you from coming. The facility is new and well done. "
