"I had a delightful stay at Friars Wynd. Check-in is not open (or an option) until noon as reception is the bar. I was hoping to check my bag early but wonderfully the cleaning staff had been through and my room was ready for an early check in. There are no room numbers, just names. I stayed in Ness which overlooked the road out front. The room was nice with a super soft bed and an iron burn in the carpet floor. This reminded me of my past ironing snafus. "Excellent staff, great food, comfortable bed, excellent biscuits etc , quiet. Decent sized bathroom, floor could have been mopped more thoroughly. For a long stay a wardrobe rather than the wall mounted hanging would be required but perfectly OK for a few days."
