"Great stay at the Windmill. The location is picturesque and overlooks the entire port. For those where views are king, this is the place for you. The service was amazing and check in was very easy. The host was knowledgeable and gave me some great recommendations as to where to go. "My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. Checking in was a hassle due to a wrong number listed for the hotel reception in the information provided. However, the location more than made up for it. Elephant Beach, right next to the rental room, is the most beautiful beach on the island in my opinion. The room itself was quite basic, but the views were fantastic. While there was a lot of traffic noise near the room, I still believe the rooms were good value for the price"

"Excellent location close to beach and next to good restaurants and coffee places. The historic house is renovated well and the chairs outside are in excellent state. Cleaning is done every day. We enjoyed breakfast at Echinousa and Raventi. We loved the island Kimolos very much. We got around well with the bus. Walking to Chora only takes 10min. There is even a great open air cinema on different places approx 2x week. We enjoyed watching the movies very much. "

"Maria was fantastic! Her property sits at the top of a spiral staircase that is a bit tricky to maneuver with lots of luggage but with her assistance we made it up fine! The view is breathtaking. The space was a bit cool at first because we were there in the off season, which for me is the best time to go! Nobody around, quiet and surrounded by nature. "Property was very clean and room was very spacious. We had the honeymoon suite and it contained 3 separate rooms (bedroom, living space, outdoor space w/hot tub). A small hotel with maybe a handful of rooms so it definitely feels quiet however, it is still very much convenient to reach the Port and Plaka by car. I would suggest renting a car as it is MORE convenient and cheaper than taking Ubers. "
